It's exceedingly difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to the information out there about this tragedy. I have serious doubts that the FBI will conduct a proper, open investigation.

I hate to agree with this. The FBI has become politicized and its leadership is not...really up to the task.

But, this is why reputable media organizations are so important. They strive to double check information they're fed, and work hard to separate the signal through the noise. You should NEVER believe some Joe Rando on social media who claims to have the inside scoop. Yes, once in a while, they might be legit. BUT....99% of the time its usually bullshit. I would not be surprised if the someone was flooding the zone with bullshit about the shooter to distract or obfuscate the real motivation for the killing...

When you look back at it, the FBI has always been highly politicized. What has me befuddled is that the FBI's political leanings should be to the right at the moment, so one would assume that they would be highly motivated to get this done right and make sure the investigation is beyond reproach. Yet when I look at the text messages sent between the alleged shooter and his boyfriend they read like they were written by a boomer on the upper floors of the J Edgar Hoover building in DC. Makes me wonder....

That's been going on for a while. That's why people who only engage others online are usually pretty fucked up. People who have to talk to people face to face find that their liberal or Maga neighbours aren't nearly as bad as they thought they were.

BTW- magic bullet - there was a documentary on discovery or PBS Nova or something like that. If you look at the positions of the bodies after the first shot (which missed) they turn etc so the second shot which hit jfk in the throat is actually a pretty straight line that then hits Connolly in the ribs and through that to his wrist or whatever.

I'm always surprised how it gets repeated by alleged experts claiming the bullet made all these twists and turns despite the frame by frame analysis from the zapruder film.
