Do you have any reference for anyone getting a ticket for less than 10km/h over the limit?

Having said that, speeding is speeding. The only difference is that the price per km/h over the limit increases.

And you can contest it. Right there on the ticket you get. Easy to do. You just reply online with the ticket number and make your case. But if you want the opportunity to get in front of a JP and hope the cop doesn't show up or other things then, yeah, they've cut that bullshit out.

I don't see why you are so upset with summary justice for a speeding ticket based on photo evidence when you are all for depriving a presumed innocent person of their liberty while the case works its way through the system.

And you can avoid ALL of the speeding taxes by NOT SPEEDING. Simple.

Ford should mind his provincial business instead of seeking vengeance for losing the mayoralty race. This is Toronto's business, not his. I do also hate the speed cameras though....speed bumps would be more effective.

Sadly I have no data that I can provide in relation to this issue and I've never had a ticket from a speed cam.

From what I understand tickets issued by a speed cam don't have the option to contest it. No sure how a cop not showing up t court would factor into this situation as no cop is necessary for a conviction.

Im not at all upset about speed enforcement as clearly it is necessary. I'm upset about a machice that is used to cheat overtaxed residents and clearly I'm not the only one hip to this.

So tell me something, since you're all about crime and punishment, do you find it fair to ticket an individual going 1-2 km over the limit?

Ok Frank, I challenge you, your charts and your twitter links to show me some tangible, relevant evidence to prove that your happy little speed cams only clock speeders going significantly over the speed limit. Also please provide some info on who and how these machines are calibrated, how often the calibration is checked and what they do when the recognize their machines calibration was off and they erroneously charged drivers who weren't speeding due to the lack of adequate calibration. I'll wait....

It's a shame you're over here arguing about speed cams when Israel just bombed the shit out of Qatar. I question where your priorities truly lie....
