The real issue is productivity, this will keep Canada stagnant as they compete for exports. View attachment 481779
The the USA is tenth? To Canada's 18th in the world? This is a huge deal? You guys are riding on loans, tech stocks, and the war machine.

Seriously look at all those European nations, with all that Healthcare and real labour laws and higher average wages, yet outperforming or near matching the USA despite their no labour laws, and shittier work conditions.

Btw, when it comes to governments reporting numbers, Trump's now has a reputation about the same as the Chinese Government.

So they can increase their financial obligations to NATO right?

Are all the European nations that you speak of going to 5%?
Lots of pledges made, you would have to Google individual ones to see.

My point being, even in this case, that the US could cut the military budget almost in half, and still be more than the next 10 nations, combined.

And that it is a big scam on taxpayers.

But the world is going to go into a recession. So buckle up..
Been buckled since 2008, the first time I saw this as an adult. This has happened before, it will happen again.

The King of Kings claims to be a God of deal making, he's full of methane signifying nothing.

Mark Carney is the real deal maker, let's see how many chips he cashes.

Mark Carney does not have enough chips to cash in
here is the cold hard truth of the matter
perhaps you may consider waking up to the reality

Mark Carney misrepresented himself to the Canadian electorate as the man to stand up against Trump
instead he has waived the white flag and Canada is slipping into what might be a very nasty recession

recessions are not very kind to the incumbent politicians

Mark Carney's legacy will be that of someone who misrepresented himself to gain power and then failed miserably

The U.S. military industrial complex will always live.

What's really entertaining is Carney is talking about cuts and austerity and you still think he's doing the wrong thing.
Even when he says he'll do exactly what you want.

The US is 28% more productive than Canada, that’s your real problem.

ignore Norway and Ireland, they are odd cases (oil and digital services), the big 3 (Germany, France and UK) all have higher productivity than Canada.

That's so myopic. 194 nations. We are 18th. So what? You are about to find out over the next few years that the USA isn't going to be as important as it was.

....and then PP will guide us to the promised land? You're an idiot. Carney has compromised and moved to the right, but you still predict failure. Carney is standing up to Trump, but not in the stupid way of verbal warfare, but in the smooth, quiet , level headed way of non-confrontational behind the scenes action.

Larue likes to blow methane. We have to be fair with him, he says that he's not a fan of The King of Kings.

He made my point Canada cannot afford to be dependent on the USA. Carney has been negotiating deals to diversify our economy since before he became Prime Minister. He could stumble with austerity. It's wasn't good medicine for the UK with riots and Brexit as the outcome. There will be a very important visitor coming to Canada soon.

His appearance at Flushing Meadows proves that The King of Kings is beloved by his people.

Because Trump just fired the person for giving numbers he didn't like. As well there are different ways these things are calculated. And how reportage works from business.
You're being dramatic. It's been a month.

You're manipulating the chart to suit your argument.

When I saw your post that you were 18th and the U.S. was 10th, I thought what are we are doing seeding a tennis tournament.

To understand country productivity comparisons, you need to focus on the G-7 or the G-20 countries. I would focus on the productivity metric and not the ranking. Europe has had slowing productivity growth for several years. Running with a slow pack is frankly just being slow.
