Must be some crazy combination of tribalism and sunk cost fallacy at this point. They've bought into it for so long that there is no way they can change their minds without a major realization that would be life shattering. To accept that they backed a conman pedo for this long is just impossible.

Even IF the person is willing, and not dragged in by family members, it is a hard thing to overcome. And the cults (think Scientology, organized religion... especially Islam, and Mormonism etc) already allow and plan for desertion with messaging to confound.

I think Trump just favors Israel. His son-in-law seems to be a big part of that.
