Ever notice how the rabid right winger types always seem to immediately demand execution, deportations, lifetime sentences for anyone brown, or other 'pedos' even so much as adjacently accused or suspected of anything in anything so much as a post on the Xittter?

Yet, when it comes to Trump, a self-admitted sexual assaulter, they insist on "irrefutable evidence" and semantics when it comes to Trump's lifetime criminal and civil history.

When Trump has literally tens of thousands of civil lawsuits for breach of contract and outright fraud, most of the opposing parties have few, if any other lawsuits in their lives?

There's a saying...you will meet assholes in your life, but if everyone you meet is an asshole...you're the asshole.

Same goes for people that sue everyone or get sued a lot.
Must be some crazy combination of tribalism and sunk cost fallacy at this point. They've bought into it for so long that there is no way they can change their minds without a major realization that would be life shattering. To accept that they backed a conman pedo for this long is just impossible.

So even if Maxwell released all the video she claims she had they'd start declaring it was AI or something.

There must be studies on what happens to people after they leave cults and how they recovered.

You are dead on with the tribalism and sunk cost fallacy.

And there is lots of research and therapy on recovering from being in a cult.

Even IF the person is willing, and not dragged in by family members, it is a hard thing to overcome. And the cults (think Scientology, organized religion... especially Islam, and Mormonism etc) already allow and plan for desertion with messaging to confound.

LOTS of stories, books, articles and YT vid's, on people who have escaped cults. Including Trumpism.

Yes but what an influencer claims and reality are two different things. Yes he could handle the cold more than most and was in good shape to be able to accomplish some of the things he did but deep down he's just a grifter.

There is an increasing trend of people buying into completely unscientific and dangerous health and wellness advice.
Especially since Rogan and his band of quacks became so famous.
- Taking TRT
- Doing excessive workouts to the point of brutalizing oneself that the human body was never designed to endure.
- Rejecting established science and medicine and instead relying on bullshit "holistic" nonsense.
- Rejecting established pharmaceuticals and vaccines.
- Doing extreme fad diets like the carnivore diet or what have you.
- Obsessing over obscure nutrients and taking non FDA approved drugs and supplements.
All wrapped up in a convenient masculinity narrative.
Such a load of bullshit. lmao.

It's the exact same thing with those that took the covid vaccine.

https://www.reddit.com/r/mealtimevideos/comments/1j5iziz this fella explained it well. Applies to trumpers and trump derangement sufferers.

I don't think they actually believe it.

Like so many personal accusations, they think there is some political juice to squeeze here.
It will not have any impact on the 2026 midterms.

However, it does satisfy the progressive base's need to feel like they are fighting Trump.
Shaping some popular policies might work better. The problem is that not only requires appealing to the electorate, but also building a consensus within the Democratic party.
They are questioning, however, why he won't release names, files, and why Maxwell appears to be getting better treatment. Why he continues to support Israel.

The narrow margins on those 40 something seats in play can be affected.

I understand your first point. I'm not convinced there's an Epstein-Israel-Trump conspiracy.

I think Trump just favors Israel. His son-in-law seems to be a big part of that.

Ehhh, the economy is going to be the deciding factor.
More specifically, how feel people think which party is best for their economic future at that point in time.

I am just going to have to disagree with you on the significance of the Epstein files on electoral outcomes.
You have to appreciate media drumbeating isn't necessarily an indicator of voter concern.

I would watch your backside. Just sayin'.
I havent ventured to rural America since I watched the deliverance. Nothing but a bunch of redneck butt fuckers there. Funny thing is all they have to do is wear a 10 gallon ridiculous red MAGA hat and nothing they do is a crime.

Maybe for you.
But what voters say doesn't matter anymore, except at midterms, unless you're backing trump running again.
