Met him a few time while he was working with the province on some school thing right before his stint with the leafs mngmt
Very nice man

What a life!! Hall of fame goaltender, lawyer, politician, best selling author, broadcaster, NHL manager. Intelligent, perceptive and always classy. RIP.

Some of you might remember he provided the colour commentary during the "miracle on ice" game during the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics when the USA Men's ice hockey team shocked the world by beating the Soviet national team. Al Michaels did the play by play.
