I have an old iPhone (SE) which I’m planning to give to someone. Prior to this, I’ll go to Apple store in Yorkdale and ask them to completely delete all information on the phone including previous emails, texts, WhatsApp etc.

I wonder if there is even a small chance that something may not be deleted? It would be not a very good scenario…

Is it possible, what do you think?

You can delete everything by factory resetting it yourself which is what they will do at an Apple Store. As to whether anything remains, as long as you’ve removed your Apple ID from the phone, which a factory reset will do, then there will be no way anyone can access any of your info….at least that’s the theory

Just for the sake of completeness, if somebody *really* wanted to extract your personal info from an old phone after a factory reset, it would require some serious forensic analysis (with fancy tools and shit) but it's technically possible. Realistically you have nothing to worry about though.
