Please explain?
Well you see when stupid people foist their gay race communism upon a nation while also importing brain-dead third world slave labour, it tends to have a very negative impact on a first world society's ability to maintain living standards and employers tend to either ship their production overseas or simply go bankrupt

Oh I see, so this has nothing to do with Trump's tariffs??

Do you know the demographics of the 200 workers whose jobs are going to be lost because of this move or are you just talking out of your ass?
Are these long-term local folks who have worked in the factory from the get-go or are they imported evil immigrants? Please continue, enlighten me.

HOLY SHIT!!!😵

All this because Crown Royal whiskey is closing down their Ontario bottling operation?

3rd world hell hole? Gay race communism? I am missing that.

Brain dead and stupid people... yeah I can see that clearly in the posts.😜

Now, I wonder if part of their decision was as a survival move to save the product from the tariffs imposed by selling Canadian Whiskey into the larger American marketplace?

Yes, this is accurate since 80% of their market is in the US. They deny it but this is strictly because of the tariffs brought on by the 🤡 next door.

What I find more disgusting is Canadians sticking up for the 🤡 in chief.

Just a Trump /anti leftie cult lizard brain sponteneous utterance. 🤷‍♂️
Yup, absolutely.

Doesn't seem like such a "third world hell hole decision" of you read past the headline. Seems like they are making a logistical move and political response to Trump's tarrifs so this Canadian business can stay viable in Canada and survive the Trump Tariffs. I also read very recently that Crown Royal had a recall of some Canadian products that had crushed glass in the bottles. Wouldn't surprise me if their bottling equipment was nearing the end of its working life and time to upgrade the facilities with new equipment. Just a business consultant's guess who has seen this play out before. Better to build a fresh, new faciity closer to your market with new, automated equipment to be able to keep prices in line and the company profitable.

But yeah, I can understand why some folk

"The facility, which bottles Crown Royal products, will close in February in a move aimed at improving its North American supply chain.

Bottling at the Amherstburg facility intended for the U.S. market would be shifting stateside, while bottling for Canadian consumers would move to its Valleyfield, Quebec location.

The company said it will still maintain a “significant” footprint in Canada — including its headquarters and warehouse operations in the Greater Toronto Area, and bottling and distillation facilities in Manitoba and Quebec.

McIntosh added the company’s Crown Royal products will continue to be mashed, distilled and aged at its Canadian facilities."
