I find it interesting y'all are more upset that the group are all POC/immigrants, and not that upset about the actual crime? Would this be a story if it were a group of white men doing this? Maybe. It is a clear danger to anyone in the area. But, you folks are laser focused on the fact that a bunch of brown skinned idiots are doing it...

People are lasered focused because they are breaking the law and putting people in danger.
I would feel the same way regardless of ethnicity. Improper handling of firearms is a recipe for disaster. The fact of the matter is most Canadian born individuals know better and would never attempt such a thing but since canada is an absolute joke these guys know they can shoplift at the lcbo in the morning and then enjoy a leisurely time illegally firing guns in the afternoon with no legal consequences or repercussions. It must be nice to be treated with such leniency. Anyone know how Omar Khadr is doing these days?

Also, the only reason you know about this story is because Joe Warmington wrote about it. I know Joe. Used to work with him. Nice guy, but not the sharpest tool in the shed. And, knowing him and who his target audience is....I do not think he'd write a column about this if it were a group of white hicks shooting off a bridge...

Until you can come up with a video of "white men" firing rifles willy nilly in Muskoka, then we should stick to topic. If there are people commiting violations like this, first thought would be, "they must be not from around here because what they are commiting might not be legal" correct me if i'm wrong...can you fire semi automatic rifles in secluded areas of Muskoka? I mean hunters do within hunt season on hunting grounds.
Look, anyone firing guns like that should be prosecuted. As I pointed out, the comments were all about the race of these individuals. And, if you can say to me with a straight face that there aren't white folks doing similar things (well, maybe not sharing incriminating videos on social media), have I got a deal for you on some swamp land...
I tend to not speak in absolutes so I accept that as a realistic possibility. As you may or may not have overlooked I stated most people born here tend to know better and recognize the potential penalties for doing so.
I seen this video almost 2 weeks ago and that's how long it took to make it's way to the msm so it has nothing to do with who ever Warmington is. My point, in general is that these people come to our country and have zero respect for our rules or way of life. I have no problem with law abiding immigrants. The problem is less and less of that variety is showing up because have willingly and knowing imported verified criminals in hopes of making our country a better place. Sadly it's not working out as planned and this is just a single solitary example.

It's quite obvious the OP was pointing out the culprits are probably "new" to Canada...you keep saying there are also white folks doing similar things....who knows? it should be easy to search the internet right? Just type in... "white folks fire semi auto rifles too" right? the fact th at it triggers you that it isn't white folks doing it... people of all shapes, colors and forms like to fire guns...it's a matter of where you do it, when you do it...
The unfortunate thing about immigration is that while Canada's point system is actually very good at weeding out Ne'er-do-wells, it is not perfect. No screening system is, and undesirables slip through the cracks. However, the vast majority are law abiding and good. I do not have a problem deporting those who break serious crimes. But, the focus of this thread, at least at the beginning, seemed to be focused on the fact that they were brown and likely immigrants.

Surely you're not that naive? The immigration board granted status to 16,000 bonefide criminals completely forgiving their convictions despite the fact they were serious criminal charges, not theft or things of that nature but violent criminals. You know, like guys with guns that aren't afraid to use them in an unsafe manner.
