I was in the front room which has a privacy shade but you can still see outside. So that's kind of hot. If you want you can be sitting in a barbershop char facing the window/road watching the world go by.
Haircut & Massage, complete with HE (?) ....the only thing missing is a shower to freshen up in

Went to the "Health Spa" a few days ago at 43 McMillan Dr. Decent spot, standard pricing. It's nothing special IMO but I'd go back. The woman I saw didn't say her name but she said several times "different girls everyday".
Place was clean, has it's own parking, not facing any other businesses really so you won't get caught by someone coming out of a Popeye's. There is a front and parking lot entrance to go in out. The woman I saw was the typical 35 ish Asian lady with minimal English skills but she was very professional and polite. I was in the front room which has a privacy shade but you can still see outside. So that's kind of hot. If you want you can be sitting in a barbershop char facing the window/road watching the world go by.

I was originally going to go to "Skin Beauty Lounge" at Brock/Dundas but there was too many people walking around as it was lunch time and that Farmer's Market a block away. Maybe next time.
Farmers market is every Wednesday. Most other days of the week the area shouldn't be too busy

I went earlier today to be ripped off the door fee. Once I got in, Tina started to up charge me to the point that I said, forget it, and left without demanding back the door fee.

Forget this place, le jardin and best choice are safer bets.
I’ll be checking it out tomorrow, what was offered , I called , it sounds like everything on the table

Good luck, bro. What was on the table to me was fairly limited. And, this wasn’t the first time I saw this particular girl, and I was generous on my prior visit.

Word from mamasan, definitely no fs, if that is what you are looking for.

Please report back, we all want to know if this joint is worth our business.

I too personally like 200 Bond more. Lots more parking in the back and the inside is very modern and up to date
Zen a la relaxation is a good spa. I enjoy my visits there because of the ladies and the service.

Haven’t had the opportunity to check out either of the latter two you mentioned. Next time I’m in Oshawa , which would you recommend I try first ? I gather both have similar ,standard pricing and services. Is there anyone in particular at either location who I should be asking for /recommended ?
Anybody at le jardin. Mae at best choice. However, I need to visit best choice more since they changed ownership.

I suspected this, based on the presence of Mae when I had stepped in last time. However, I was not sure. Thanks for confirming. First, it was sparkle, then up every day, and now best choice.

A few different owners ?
Spa business isn’t what it used to be , all owners take a financial risk, , no longer a license print $$ , rents are too high , younger customers don’t pay for hand jobs , older customers dying off .. girls are old desperate women with no skills for anything else that pays high tax free money, so just like strip clubs , it’s a dying business

The business model for your average run of the mIll spa, particularly outside of Toronto , is not sustainable nor viable long term.. Rent itself, even in Oshawa can be upwards of $4000 per month
. Room fees are supposed to be profit shared with the employees , and on average , 30/45/60 minutes results in cost sharing of $10/$20/$30 for the masseuse . In some joints , the masseuse gets nothing from the house for a 30 minutes sessions. These rates are rather pathetic , and of course do nothing to attract optimal employees . But I blame the customers for that . Too many cheap assed chintzy dudes trying to squeeze the max services for the least amount of cash. So ya get what you pay for. It’s a bit demeaning and undignified towards the ladies struggling to make a buck , but that’s where we are as a community , unfortunately.

Typically , there are on average , about 10 of these places up for sale at any given time , looking for new owners . It seems that many are functioning mainly as tax write offs and/or money laundering operations. A few , that I’m familiar with, are owned by ladies in their 70’s who are essentially retired , but just looking for a regular, low key stream of pocket change spending money .

To me , it’s just a room rental business, true , the girls get 0 from the thirty minute fee , but , tips minimum 40 to as much as 100-150 tax free for 30 minutes work , these ladies are still pulling in a grand to 1400 a week, only reason they are struggling is , most of the money goes back to China or the Casino

These Asian businesses aren't real...if you know what I mean.

It's a well documented & accepted fact that these "spa's" are fronts for money laundering by Organized Crime , almost exclusively Asian crime syndicates.

The spa as legit business is just a cleansing house for dirty money. It provides the perfect opportunity - cash sales for services, no inventory, no personalized receipts . The "employees" don't require certification, higher education or specialized training.

It's essentially right out of LE Financial Crimes Unit textbook 101.

Not all of them are what you described.
