The only reason to smell good is for the people around you as you will get desensitized to your own smell.
I like to wear cololnge with the woodsy smell, I think they actually smoke the colonge in burning wood.
I prefer the musky ones as you smell like a campfire in the woods. Lots of colognes with woodsy smell out there. Some with vanilla or tabacco overtones.

The one that seems to get most compliments, according to the net, is Invictus by Paco Rabanne but I like Tom Ford and Gentleman Society by Givenchy with its Woody fragrance with notes of sage, vanilla, and Cedar. They mention several top notes , middle notes, bottom notes. I think all that talk about subtleties of notes are marketing

As some people are allergic to colognes you can make your own with essential oils.
Mix them then use a base such as olive oil. I sprinkle on cloths as some essential oils will cause rash. Put it on and wait for a few minutes. If you feel a burn immediately wash off with soap. Cinnamon gets compliments
and I also use lavender, cedarwood and sandalwood. There are many others which are pleasant smells including orange and lemon but now you smell like a friut.

At an escort meet and greet , I was sitting next to an SP who conversing with someone else, she suddenly turns to me and said "You smell good!", I had just showered with Irish Spring soap before coming out. I don't use cologne of any kind.
Honestly keeping up with your hygiene goes a long way. I’m not too picky with cologne but aslong as you shower everyday and put on deodorant then I have no complaints 😘

Fun fact... anytime I was out with buddies, but had on clothes that may have come in contact with women's "deodorants or light perfumes" I always got noticed by women. Like making a point of telling me I smell good. Go figure. Try something new boys!

Exfoliating body scrub regularly helps along with good cologne.
I am sure there are better colognes out there, but I use the Montblanc Legend Espirit and usually get compliments.

Me too. Irish spring soap and whatever shaving foam I use. Both my SB and my usual SP always tell me how good I smell..

Gucci Guilty Parfum for men. Orange, honey and vanilla.

Spicy not flowerly masculine smell that women love.

I aways evolve with the New Colognes. I tried a whole bunch. Too many to name. Gucci Guilty intense was definitely one of my favorites and ladies favorite but, of course they stopped making it. Legend, Agua di Gio, Tom Ford, Allure, Versace, Valentino, Blue Channel. Just to name a few real good ones. 110% percent approved and liked by Sp's and Strippers. 😂

Never had so many compliments as with Kiton Black.
If you wear dress shirts regularly, you may also want to try their dress shirts.
Few better feelings as far as clothing goes!

They have different varities of same cologne then keep changing

It is a money grab. Huge mark up on that stuff.

I like post 2 by Big Rig with his idea of making your own cologne.

I always thought cinnamon bun would make a decent smell
and now I can try it out with an essential oil. I looked it up and use caution as some can cause a severe rash and make you peel.
Just put a test on your arm and quickly wash off if it starts to irritate.

As I use the woodsy cologne I will try cederwood or sandalwood on my cloths with cologne on my skin. Now I got my own unique smell.

Remember not to overspray cologne. Too little is far better than
too much and makes it last longer.

Might as well buy 3 or 4 different brands as that just makes them last longer and now you have variety for same price as one brand

I have a summer/spring cologne (Montblanc Legend) and fall/winter one (used to be Dark Rebel by John Varvatos but they stopped making it so use Commodity Leather). Dark Rebel smells like a mix of whisky, gunpowder and leather. So maybe I but a dab of Johnnie Walker behind my ears?

Different colognes for every season seems overkill.

Same for inside/outside.

Inside you just use less, outside you use more of same cologne .
