Finished Black Mirror. One episode at a time people! Don't kill yourselves.

Started Last of Us season two. Hard hitting as usual. 2 episodes in.

Love Death And Robots starts May 15th. For those that don't know this gem it's a series of animated shirts, by different producers with various styles. Run time 8 minutes I think up to 45. All tell a self contained story. Obviously Sci Fi genre. A great little time waster, or as dessert for a heftier drama show.

I finished Black Mirror as well, one episode per day. I'm ranking the top five episodes that hit hardest with me.

2 Hated in the Nation S3 E6
3 Eulogy S7 E5
4 USS Callister S4 E1
5 White Christmas S2 E4

...and the top spot goes to.

1 Demon 79

I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that the new season of SurrealEstate has started. It's a Canadian supernatural/horror series about a real estate agency that either helps ghosts in haunted houses to move on or exorcises demons.

It also features a mini-Schitt's Creek reunion with Tim Rozon and Sarah Levy in starring roles.

I watched the Australian version of The Office and enjoyed it, even though they're trying a bit too hard to mirror the American version right down to having its' own Jim and Pam.

I watched Maniac on Netflix purely because I saw that Julia Garner was in it and ended up enjoying it. It's part of a sub-genre that I've dubbed, "Episodes of Black Mirror that have been expanded into full series". It stars Jonah Hill and Emma Stone. I also started Blockbuster the other night, just because I'm a fan of Melissa Fumero after seeing her in Brooklyn 99, and despite the bad reviews, I've been enjoying it. It's your basic workplace sitcom complete with "Will they or won't they?" characters but it's still a fun time waster.

Re-watching Mad Men.

Unlike a lot of series that were just as good the second time I watched them after they first aired, not quite as really good as I remembered, but still worth watching.
Mad Men is challenging, John Hamm makes us regula schmoes seem insignificant. Don Draper's life is too perfect, even when he gets knocked down he springs back up like Rocco in the WWE. He has women coming out of the woodwork which is not hard to believe for someone as obscenely handsome as John Hamm. I'm getting depressed, especially when I see a fantasy in my face.

Apart from that watching Kiernan Shipka grow up is fun. 2024 was her year with Longlegs and Red One. The later should have become a Christmas classic, the writing was atrocious. The film bombing wasn't Rocco's fault.

KS's next project is a crime thriller called Stone Cold Fox. An adversarial relationship between Fox (KS) and her swami played by Kristen Ritter, Kiefer Sutherland is the crooked cop who works for Ritter.
