Last month, Minnesota State Senator Justin Eichorn — a man who loudly championed “family values” and once proposed classifying “Trump Derangement Syndrome” as a mental illness — was arrested in a prostitution sting. Not just that… the charge involved soliciting a minor.
It’s wild how often this happens. The louder the moral posturing, the darker the private habits seem to get. The same guys writing legislation to crack down on sex work are sometimes the first ones getting caught in hotel rooms.
At this point, is it even surprising?
I’m wondering how people here feel about the hypocrisy. Do voters just turn a blind eye if the politics align? Is this kind of double life inevitable for men in power, or is it just about shame and secrecy?
Not trying to be cynical — just noticing a pattern that keeps repeating.
