In my experiences I have never had an issue with any SP I have contacted and seen via Tryst, found it safer and more reliable. Also being a medium for indies, accountability is way higher.
In general, yes, but these days I look at ads on Tryst and I see more and more suspicious ads, unclear advertising, etc. Am I the only one? Rarely does a reputable SW advertise on only one website, and it seems to be happening more. When someone interests you, look where else they advertise, if they have reviews, a website, a presence online, etc.
