lol - there is a back door - but the only time i used it (a few years ago) the stairs felt like they were ready to fall off the worn out deck they were attached to. Maybe not the place to try....

So, over the past few years i have visited Tabu a few times. Had a couple of great experiences, a a couple of ok times and last time - horrible. Its too bad the consistency is gone. Agree the location is a dive (but that's part of the charm) but without the fun - its not worth it at all.

A bit hard to quantify, but looks, the fact that some independents are well - more independent and free thinkers?. I have no qualms with the parlors, but find the right independents are just way more interesting, more casual...
