Amsterdam is pretty overrated and not that great for hobbying IMO. 50 euros for 20 mins. Have to ask though to see what they include. Some charge extra to even touch, and only offer one thing for those 20 mins, so make sure you ask and agree before settling/paying. Very mechanical. Not worth it IMO.

To be honest I find travelling alone better and that's from experience. I've travelled quite a lot this past calendar year and I find that you're more likely to meet new people then you are if travelling with a friend. I find when travelling alone you're more inclined to start a conversation...

I think you could have bought season ticket packages on StubHub, though not sure if you can anymore. Raptors upper bowl seats are sold out for season tickets. You might be able to get seats in the lower bowl, though they would be far more expensive and games during the week against bad teams...

I was in Dubai back in February, though it never crossed my mind to hobby there in the UAE. I mean, I'm sure they're international girls who escort there and in Abu Dhabi since the country is made of money, though it's not a place that I'd recommend to hobby in.

Thanks so much great8 for that report. With this weather in T.O. right now, I'm leaning more towards going somewhere down south in February or March for a week. Went to Panama last year and I heard Colombia is supposed to be even better. Would like to visit Bogota, Medellín and Cartagena.

I'm thinking of maybe going to Columbia for a week over March break. I went to Panama last March and loved it, and I heard amazing things about Columbia.
