Yeah, easier to just shoot the guy. De-escalating a situation is only for thinking people. "COMPLY OR I'LL <BANG BANG> SHOOT" is much simpler.

It was not intended as a loss nor as a for profit venture. It was just to be a private party that a bunch of guys split the cost of amongst themselves. Just that one of them was not honourable to live up to his commitment.
