Pahlavi is proposing a secular democratic state. Not a monarchy.
I guess it doesn't have to be a monarchy to bring back Savak.
You know it was the secret police who, among other tortures,
administered electric shocks on the testicles of dissenters?
Iran will likely remain unstable after Pahlav's return. He will need
the means to pacify those who want to kick him out of their country.

Ah, I see. So let us keep the Ayatollah, who only murders 25000 protestors overnight, because we are paranoid that the son who is proposing a secular democratic state will do the exact same things his dad did.

Did the son say anything on how good or bad his dad was as the former
ruler of Iran? Did he say he is going to be kinder and gentler than his dad
to those who hate him?

The son said, he supports a secular democratic state.
I suppose that is kinder than a malevolent dictatorship that is in power now.

Sounds like the son doesn't want to say anything that reminds the
younger generation of how kind his dad was. I am sure Lenin, Stalin
and Hitler never said anything like they would support a ruthless
dictatorship before they came to power.

the problem with present Iran is the Power belongs to the regime...there is zero power on the citizen side.... democracy there's some semblance of balance... not in Iran...

Then why does he call himself the 'prince'?
He was the crown prince before they overthrew the Shah.
However show me a video of where he calls himself a prince. I haven't seen one.
Infact in this video, he says that he doesn't want a crown on his head. Aka no prince.
Listen to the first 15 secs.

I can see that why the U.S. would love to help bring democracy to Iran like they
did with Iraq.

Even maximum blood shed matters little. It will be mainly the Iranians
who are going to get killed in a US-instigated conflict.

We don't want the US to invade.
We just want Iranians to replace the regime just as they did in 1979.
80% of Iranians don't want this regime anymore.

You mean the part where he says he doesn't want to be leader and then says he wants to be leader because.....

In this interview he says its wrong to exclude the idea of a monarchy.

He can want to be a leader, there is nothing wrong with that.
Constitutional monarchies do operate on democratic principles. You live in one.
He has also proposed a secular democratic state.
It is clear all of that is better than what we have in Iran today.
80% of Iranians seem to agree.
