I was spot on. You Lefties wont admit that it was one of your own that shot Charlie Kirk, and you still wont admit to it.

You even said it yourself, you think he's either MAGA or a goyper
Yeah looks like he was a groyper.
But I was referring to your prediction that Kimmel apologized or would give a half hearted apology.
There was none.

The fact Tyler Robinson is a left-winger is really getting to you, isn't it?? 😀
I don't really care. At least we know the one who tried to clip the head clown from the rooftop was a rightie....but a rightie with a bad shot.

Imagine if he had hit, Trump would have been the biggest martyr ever seen, the biggest in the world. Luckily, it didn't hit, better nature take it's course.

Insid, none of your research has any relevance to my point.

In any event, I said I suspect Kimmel is less popular in heavily conservative, Christian markets. I didn't think it required research.
It does seem to really bother you when left wingers are popular.

Sure it does.
No it doesn't.
Walt Disney's statement on why they suspended Kimmel below. Nothing to do with ratings.
Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country. It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.

I am saying ABC's definition of "profit" may be very different to how you are imagining it.
No, you're entitled to your opinion but you're not entitled to my imagination.

I'm imagining that if Kimmel somehow contributes to Disney-ABC's bottom line directly or indirectly the show should be fine. I don't want his show cancelled.

Because it backfired and it everyone called it out and started cancelling their subscriptions to Disney and Hulu.
Right, Disney+ (and Hulu) are so upset about that, they just raised the monthly subscriptions.

"Some Jimmy Kimmel fans who opened Hulu to watch the late-night host's return to TV were coincidentally met with a notice that their subscription cost will soon be increasing.

Disney notified Disney+ and Hulu subscribers on Tuesday, Sept. 23 that prices of many of their plans are going up next month, according to updated rates listed on their websites.

Most standalone subscription plans for the two Disney-owned streaming services will increase in price, while select bundle plans for both Disney+ and Hulu will also be impacted.

The price hikes came amid a firestorm around the suspension of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on ABC, which is owned by Disney. The network announced on Sept. 17 that it would indefinitely stop airing Kimmel's late-night show over comments the host made about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The show returned to air on most ABC affiliates on Sept. 23. Sinclair Broadcast Group or Nexstar Media Group preempted the show from returning to their ABC-affiliate stations."

USA TODAY has reached out to Disney+ and Hulu for comment.

That makes sense to increase prices when subscriptions go down, to keep their margins.

LOL no.

It was planned in advance, yet they stuck to their plan regardless of snowflakes canceling their subscriptions.

They certainly tried which is why he was indefinitely suspended for a week
They can try all they want. There is nothing wrong or illegal about that.
But clearly Trump doesnt have the power to cancel Kimmel, which was what you guys were whining about

I won't be snarky by posting a laughing emoji.
You do realize Disney probably has a dozen or two PR folks who write corporate doublespeak all day long.
If this was a press release about some controversial matter from United Healthcare would you be be posting it as defacto evidence?

I acknowledged Sinclair and Nextstar's reaction. Their leadership certainly called Disney-ABC execs about suspending the show. The network-affiliate-audience is dynamic and fluid.

In any event, all I said was that before and after the incident ratings will be different in the various markets depending on their political make-up. Seems fairly straightforward and obvious, but yet you seem to want to semi-troll an argument.

Yes Shaq, that's how prices are determined by large corporations. Some execs get in a room, decide how much money they want to make and then they back into prices. 🤦‍♂️

PS- Surely, there's a liberal member here who can set Shaq straight.
