I hope the third season of Tulsa King flops because Sly has lost the lefties. I liked the show, but now that I know what a dumbass Sly really is, I can't watch it. The difference is I wouldn't want a government body to shut him down because of his political ignorance.

I was a fan of his for awhile, but hearing him speak in interviews, not the brightest guy.
But hey, you figured that out recently, good job, slowly but surely you'll be able to think with clarity and deliberation one day.

I see, so because he speaks like a mobster, you assumed he wasn't a bright guy. I never really assessed his intelligence before hearing him babble about Trump. I found him entertaining and left it at that, as I do with most celebrities.

This is just stupid. You seem to doubt the Trump administration had anything to do with his temporary suspension. Despite the evidence. Despite Carr basically cheering on the decision. Despite the fact that we know he holds a LOT of power over a possible merger with Newstar and Tenga (or whatever its called) that would need FCC approval. And of course Trump whining like a little bitch about negative news coverage and that it should be illegal. Jesus, he his such a asshat.

Could you imagine if the FCC under Biden did anything like this? The right would shit a fucking brick. But, we don't live in a world where both sides are equal. We live in one where the right has fully embraced authoritarianism while the left is still wishy-washy on it. The Dems should look to Canada's Liberals to see how to win. I know that'll trigger a bunch of y'all, but it is the fucking truth. Say what you will about Trudeau or Carney or Chretien, but they knew how to message their goals and win majority governments.

Host set to return to his late-night show after ABC lifts suspension

ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! is set to return to the air Tuesday, after a nearly week-long suspension that triggered a national discussion about freedom of speech. But two groups of ABC affiliates that denounced Kimmel last week said they would not carry his return.

Nexstar Media Group said it would continue to pre-empt the show, "pending assurances that all parties are committed to fostering an environment of respectful, constructive dialogue in the markets we serve."

Sinclair Broadcast Group said it would also keep Kimmel off its stations.

The two corporations collectively control about one-quarter of ABC affiliates.
