Says 25 calories right on the package
Calories come from fiber.
Fiber is technically a carbohydrate, but your body doesn’t digest it like sugars or starches meaning Konjac is calorie free.

On the nutritional label subtract fibre from total carbs

whats the underling flour or vegetable used for Konjac pasta? i know about Shirataki noodles which is made out of yam, not flour.

Instead of ice cream get a smothie maker which is a blender with blades meant for smashing instead of cutting
Add 50% ice and you got ice cream like health food
They are amazing substitute for ice cream lovers without guilt

You can make ice cream anything with a real smoothie maker

Broccoli ice cream ? Just add ice to broccoli with a little milk to get it started.

You can make soup because the blades cause friction and heat things to a boil after a few minutes

The problem is making things tasty but there are recipes on line

The obvious thing to do is turn your favorite smoothie into ice cream

Put pasta in fridge after cooking as that reduces carbs.
I use whole wheat pasta that will last for days. Cool it quickly after coated with olive oil to prevent sticking.
I mix it with Konjac

Konjac as pasta alertnative has zero calories

Instead of pasta sauce use olive oil and basil or thyme

I have a friend who competes in bodybuilding when she was on prep week I was over at her place and tried these as she swears by them - something about them I couldn’t stomach well even when it was drenched in sauce the texture and taste just didn’t appeal to me 😢

They are not as good as real pasta because of texture so I mix Konjac with refridgerated pasta cooked al dente (post 25). Easy peasy lemon squeasy as pasta will last a week and you have dinner in 5 minutes

Another weight loss hack is don't eat stupid food. Don't eat cookies, cake and candy. Don't eat white processed bread. Don't load up on white rice and mashed potatoes. Don't eat chips and cheeses. And for God sakes loose the soft drinks and beer.
So this tomato time of year I love to make clubhouse and BLT sandwiched. I'm otherwise not one to like white bread, it makes the best Club/BLT when toasted.

But I don't like that much bread, especially 3 slice on a Club.

Lo and behold this evening at Shoppers, I saw THIN SLICE Wonder Bread.

Can't wait to try tomorrow!

What's wrong with mash potato if no butter? I thought potato was ok (if boiled) or is white potato an absolute no no for weight loss/ carb deficit foods
A good baked Russet potato, eaten with it's skin on, butter and sour cream is actually very nutritious. The fat in the butter and sour cream buffer the glycemic shock insulin response. The skin has many minerals and vitamins. And the fiber of the skin also slows the breakdown of the carbs. The calcium in the sour cream is well absorbed.

Agree and if you have read the entire thread you will have learned to bake potato then cool in fridge as that turns some of the starch into fibre then reheat (post 25). No biggie just cook a week supply of pasta, potato, rice and store in fridge actually makes cooking quicker and easier. So far, best tip of thread

I asked ChatGPS

Start meals with protein not salad as protein satiates you faster

Drink water before meal

The fibre thing with veggies and whole grain as fibre fills you up

My thought is mix some dietary calorie free fibre with water before meal so I asked ChatGPS and they said YES. Use metamusil as it is psyllium and it makes you full quicker and slows metabolism which prevents glucose spikes

Not into exercise ? just do some short bursts even if it is walking

Mindful eating

Good sleep as lack of sleep makes you eat more due to hormones and metabolism is not as good

I don’t think there are any secrets here: don’t eat anything with a list of ingredients, just eat whole unprocessed foods. Greek yogurt, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, cashews, almonds, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, tuna, salmon, lobster, sushi…. If you eat real food you’ll never even need a gym. I’ve gone from 330 to 165lbs, it took over 5 years lol ok yes it’s a slow burn, I probably could have expedited the process by using a gym but that’s just not how I want to spend my time. I had an addiction to processed food and fast food and I was depressed and hated myself. I didn’t even change how much I ate, I still ate as much as I wanted but it wasn’t cheeseburgers Mr sub pizza and fruitopia, I stopped that shit cold turkey. I was a fucking adult eating fruit by the foot. I was retarded. Totally lost on life’s other paths I just let my diet and self esteem go completely around high school and I peaked at 330 in my 20s. My dick was a joke, sex wasn’t an option because I was a mess. But it was 100% diet. Not trendy fad diets. Just eating real shit. I figured if I could afford to pay for sex I could afford to pay for real food. Real foods expensive. Very expensive lol but if you eat real nutrient dense whole foods your body just stays fuelled and satiated. Now I’ve been stable for a while. My body has adapted. Life is better
