The playing field is never level.
Even if only cis people compete in a sport, some have genetic advantages over the others.

That doesn't matter. If Serena Williams plays a 15 yr old woman teenager in Tennis and beats her 6-0, 6-0, it's all legal. Reason being, both women were born with Vaginas!!

There are many women who have genetic physical advantages over other women.
When Serena Williams started beating everybody, they accused her of being man like.
More recently there was a female athlete who was falsely alleged to be male because of her masculine looks.
Similarly Michael Phelps has genetic and physical advantages over other men and other fellow swimmers.
So men are stronger than women or have a genetic advantage to be more athletic isn't always such a good argument and I think this issue is more complex than people make it out to be.

Hey, if you are going to have competition that involves very real stakes and money involved then having a level playing field is important. No different than weight classes in boxing.

But it is clear that trans men converting to women have a real advantage. And with money on the line this is going to cause problems.

Imo they should not be allowed to compete in woman's divisions. And there is no "right" to compete. It's a privilege.

Trans men should only be allowed to compete in men's sports!! That's it!!

The future of the whole world rides on which high school kid wins a race. The NCAA has (had?) single digit trans people out of the half million athletes.

There are surely a few Trans athletes ratio but how many biological male Trans athletes are excelling on women's sports? That's the onus. I will bet all my assets there is no biological female excelling on men's sports....

Gallagher finished at 57.62 in the 400M

The highschool record is 50.69, set in 2022. The NCAA record is 48.89

Then, in the 200M race, Gallagher finished in first place at 25.76

There are about 9,000 kids enrolled in the schools that make up the "portland interscholastic league". 4500 girls/1100 kids per grade. If you ran track in highschool, this association is smaller than "Zone". It's not even winning SOSSA.

Ok, sure. Tell you what. Let's just eliminate gender categories in all sports. Period. Olympics everything. And that includes competition for scholarships, and all the NCAA money. Total level playing field. Its all fluid now. So no need for them.

Same in MMA and Boxing.

That's actually not a bad idea. Having separate sports just for women is as DEI as it gets. Why isn't MAGA for this ?
