Here's the thing: independent voters don't view Trump like his cult. They see a dude who says crazy shit, is horrible to people, has a terrible economic policy, and can't imagine another four years with him at the helm. So, while there are the die hard MAGAts, and those who just want to use him (like Musk and those other billionaires who want another tax break on their next yacht purchase), a strong majority of Americans will vote against Trump. However, because of the antiquated electoral college, it may not matter. And, for the last 30 years, the GOP has only won the popular vote once....
