Christina has no skills that will set her apart from other Teleprompter readers. And her voice can get really croaky and raspy sometimes. She received a healthy dismissal package due to her Union membership and employment deal.Too bad
If her husband even makes a reasonable living why not just be a stay at home mom ?
Well her strengths were NEVER as an anchor. While at CP she often made mistakes when at the desk reading from the prompter. But she was a very good field reporter. Beatrice and Cristina I think were the best at covering those tougher grittier topics (like provincial government corruption etc) because they are both like pitbulls (aren't afraid to ask tough questions to politicians). Even Beatrice ran afoul of Pierre Poilievre herself last year when interviewing him on CP (he was very condescending and rude to her during the interview). Courtney is also excellent in the field but she goes with a softer more delicate approach (nothing wrong with that).
But sadly for Cristina this was a huge snafu for a media outlet to doctor a clip as it creates the appearance of bias and it totally misrepresented his statement. She probably had no hand in editing the footage but sadly since she covered it, they probably felt they had no choice but to let her go.
As for being a stay at home mom, things are tough in Canada and I'm not sure many people can simply afford and get by on one (partners) paycheck. People live according to their means and if they have a mortgage etc with the anticipation there would be two household checks, then no way she can just stay home. She probably will have to pivot into some niche media for a while or just lay low while the heat dies down.

Around the turn of the century there was this lady from NZ that came to Canada to work at CTV. Her name is Wendy Petrie. I remember her distinct accent and she's sexy as well. Her two daughters are on the varsity team at their universiities.

Kayla Williams Tracy announced on Instagram yesterday that she is leaving CP24 as of next Monday.
I would not be surprised if Jenn gets divorced soon. Most people who openly talk about their fights in their marriage on TV end up getting a divorce at a later time.
