Or, maybe like a soft serve ice cream machine filled with merde?

Slowly, swirling, winding, ascending coils of ca-ca, layered one upon the other ad infinitum, what, what ,what?

Trump is going through every popular podcaster. Kamala won’t even spare 5 minutes for the press.

that should be enough of a reason to see who is capable and who is not. Stop lying to yourselves about Kamala.
He's giving way too many interviews. Who really wants a President who is accessible and communicative? ;)

Can you imagine Kamala on a 2 hour podcast lol. The democrats would be having anxiety attacks.

Everybody Trump has spoken to said they would also like to interview Kamala. Yet she’s too scared to go on.

There should be a rule where each candidate has to sit down for a few hours taking questions about their proposed policies. You can’t get shit from canned teleprompter speeches and debates where where you give a two minute answer.
Apparently, we have several members that have gone out on a long limb to declare that it is perfectly acceptable to not grant many interviews and certainly not direct, probing interviews. I myself would just concede that she is dangerous off-script.

Tonight's interviewed is going to be conducted by Rachel Ray. Rachel and Kamala are going to also be making jerk chicken. Yah, mon! (That's code switching.)

But you think this is coherent?

One like this?
Nothing but softball questions with zero pushback?

Sure.
(And this isn't even an hour of actual questions, is it?)

Trump doesn't take questions about his policies though.
He just ignores them and doesn't answer.

A real town hall and reporter's panel would be great.
Hard to negotiate a fair one that people all respect, but I'd be all for it if it was actually a fair process that treats both sides the same.

I don't see it likely to happen in the near future.

Lex bent himself into a pretzel trying to help Trump and Trump just kept on rolling with his stupidity and the stolen election. LMAO

I hopped on the lexfriedman reddit to see their reaction and they seemed pretty disappointed in Lex and how weak he was in letting Trump just do whatever he wanted.

It would be great, but he isn't being that at all, as the reaction to his interviews seems to confirm.
He's just lying and going on shows with people who are non-confrontational and don't pushback on his bs.

OK, let's call this out. I've said that Kamala doesn't have to at this point. I mean, she should. I also don't think she'd wilt if faced with a two hour pod cast. But, notice how the interviews Trump does are fairly....well...puffy? They rarely call him out on his lies or push back on his crazy takes. And, even when he shits the bed, like with the NABJ interview, the media and his supporters basically forget about it or downplay the stupidity. It's like Trump has an incredibly low bar. He can say nearly anything stupid and gets a pass. If Harris said a tenth of what he's blubbered on about, we'd be questioning her intelligence.

So, Trump is apparently doing a "Town Hall" with Hannity. Here are the details. It's pre-taped, filled with Trump supporters, all the questions are known in advance. Does that sounds like a challenging interview? And, let's also face the fact that many of the podcasts he's gone on have kissed his ass without any shame.

No, but it's still an interview. I think we established that they both ramble quite a bit (off script). So no new ground there.

For me and many, we know what Trump is all about. We also have a pretty good idea what would be his Administration's priorities.

Many are trying to get a feel for what Kamala believes are her Administration's priorities. Will she push a California agenda? Will she sincerely moderate from her earlier positions? Now she's a badass border enforcer? I guess she says she won't try to interfere with fracking, but there are ways to make it a pain in the ass to perform. Realistically, she only said that because she needs to win Pennsylvania.

We all know that if politicians don't discuss these issues they don't have to exaggerate or obfuscate. They don't have to explain changing their positions. I noticed the liberal media was criticizing Trump for moderating his stances on abortion. The criticism is completely fair.

What's your take on the "hardball" interview of Kamala on that 18 minute segment on CNN? Be honest.

Clearly, that line was written for her to deflect questions about changing positions. Of course, it means absolutely nothing. It doesn't tell you one thing about her policies.

You could make the case it's a dog whistle to the far left.

The issue here is that Trump's position changes with the wind. He says one thing that makes it look like he's a moderate on abortion, then gets some pushback and he changes his opinion. Anecdotally, we heard frequently that he changed his mind on big decisions while president based on who talked to him last. He is very malleable and can be easily influenced by flattery or (apparently) shit talk. Because of this....who really knows what he would do when faced with a challenge like a national abortion ban bill. For something that will have a massive impact on people's lives, that isn't good.

As for Harris, she is doing more media. But, without doing anything, she's neck and neck. Which says two things: How unpopular Trump is with the average American, and how she is growing in popularity.

Now, I won't pretend to predict who will win in November. It will likely be very close, and there will be the usual GOP-state led bullshit (like purging the voter list with a focus on areas with large democrat support), understaffed polling stations (so there are massive lines to vote) or allowing intimidate outside of them. I think we all know Harris will probably clobber Trump on the popular vote, but the electoral college is, at this point, any body's guess.

The one thing to always remember. Without the crazy county draws (gerrymandering) the republicans would never have one a single election in the last 30 years…
