Is Immigration a Benefit for White Canadians?

As most of the forum knows, i have voted liberal up until about 6 years ago.

I sold my house just off Bayview and moved into a condo after my second divorce. I was in pharmaceutical sales and was in the board of a couple companies.

The building i moved into was 75% white, now in 2024 i can say its about 35% white.

One thing i have observed is that most of the time people are buried in their phones. They dont care to have a conversation even though we could possibly live on the same floor.

Ive noticed there isnt a sense of community for "whites" now. Anybody else feel the same?

Tom needs to move because Canada is %90 vaxxed which should be more of his concern than immigrants. BTW, many immigrants are also white. The influx of Ukrainians fleeing the war. And who knows many more white Liberal Americans coming into Canada, fleeing Trump's presidency. Horay more Liberals in Canada. LOL! Canada is still majority White.

35% white could be even higher than where I live. It is
a mix of people from Korea, Iran, China, India and other
countries along with locally born white Canadians in my condo.

Managers of the condo past and present are mainly white
folks. They and all of the concierges communicate in English.


I can't speak for everyone but I have never sensed racial
tensions lurking among my condo-mates.

The way Trudeau is letting people immigrate here, it's not a benefit to Canada at all.

I remember when I was growing up as a kid, in the US we used to think of Canada as all white, filled with hockey players and lumberjacks, patrolled by the heroic Mounties. Not to say this was reality but it was the perception. Now most Americans think of Canada as a bunch of nice communists with an immigration problem.

Oh how hurtful immigration policies and woke politicians can be. It’s fine to be liberal until those liberal policies directly affect you right?
