The best managers hire the best people and let them work. Then have them bring the best, most objective info possible back to the ceo or president or whomever. Then decide the course of action. That's not the same as a debate. That how a good ceo or president runs an administration.

Instead you got bipartisan legislation to move chip production back into USA, biggest infrastructure rebuild in a generation, a reduced deficit and best GDP in developed world and best anti-inflation fighting in the developed world (yes Fox folks- the entire world suffered from inflation once pandemic cleared, and USA did the best in fighting it) and lowest crime rate in 20 years. So, where's the incompetent over his head can't do anything evidence? Again, it's not a solo job. Assemble a good team and put them in position to excel is what good leaders do.
