The problem with overemphasis on the 2020 election is that without COVID Trump wins handily. Of course COVID did occur, but no one seems to be too happy with that period. This includes many in blue states who at the time were sure their Governors were guiding them through the dark.

I don't pretend to know what should have been done. I just know people have mixed feelings about that time.

As far as Vance, surely you have heard how little VP choices impact the overall election result.
