Hey, he could have stepped down. Left on a high note and allowed an open primary to choose someone. Instead he is doing an RBG. The Octagerian Mafia in Washington just refuses to step down due to hubris. So yes he will be subject to criticism.
And if he loses to Trump will you blame him and the Dems? Or the voters?
I agree that he should have found a suitable candidate himself and stepped down. I think he is still capable but the country should be able to do better. I don;;t think it's hubris. I think a big factor was not wanting to become a lame duck President so he could get things done during his administration. I think that if there were a viable candidate to come forward, that Biden would step aside for the nomination.
BUt as you say, the political party system in the US is so dysfunctional that it couldn't find its ass with both hands.
Havin said al that, I'd rather have a doddering old man not doing crazy shit than a selfish fucking wannabe Dictator lunatic who can cause a whole lot of trouble.
Whoever wins or loses is the people's choice. I won't blame anybody.
I accepted that Trump won his Presidency fair and square (to my knowledge).
Look, half of society is of below average intelligence. But we have as strong a single vote as the genius' like you,
@The Oracle , and
@mitchell76 if we were Americans and not just a bunch of deluded assholes thinking we are doing anything except jerking ourselves off to a game we can't even play.
So if the majority of the USA's bubbas and Trump fanbois want him as their President, that's what should happen. It's their country, their rules of democracy and in the end the power should lie in the people.
