I'm not saying he's wrong. It could make him more sympathetic to some voters. But, a few things: We know this won't change the MAGA Cultists. They are ride or die with him. But...what about independents? I think there is a good chance they will see the reality - Trump was charged with a real crime, was tried and found guilty by a jury of his peers. They are the ones who aren't sucked into the right-wing media disinformation swamp. They will recognize that Trump has done illegal things to get into office....and he allegedly tried illegal shit to stay in power. And, while Trump wants to pretend this is a case of Biden forcing a prosecution, there is no evidence or any reasonable thought behind this. Just his usual axe to grind...Which right thinking people would recognize and understand.

Now, Trump himself loves to talk about polls. But the only important one is the one cast on election day. If polls were a lock, Clinton would likely still be president right now.

🚨
NEW: Megyn Kelly suggests a reckoning is coming for Biden, Obama, and Clinton after Trump verdict. “You just wait, and it won’t be Hunter Biden the next time. It’s going to be Joe Biden. It could potentially still be Barack Obama. It could still potentially be Hillary Clinton. We’re going to have to look at what the statutes of limitations are on the various crimes they surely committed. We’re going to have to look at passing laws to revive those dead crimes, felonies, or misdemeanors so that those cases can be brought out of time.” Kelly says, “The only way to save the Republic now is to give them a taste of their own medicine.” She compares the Democrats to a wolf that just “tasted blood” and suggests the only way to stop a wolf from “coming back for more” is “if he loses a limb of his own.” “Who’s getting indicted next?” she asked. “Joe Biden? Maybe Jill Biden? How low can we go? You may not want to see it. That ship has already left port. That horse has left the barn. That’s where we’re going. So before you celebrate too much over at MSNBC and CNN, who are positively gleeful, gleeful over this absurd conviction, you wait and ask yourself, ask yourself what kind of Pandora’s box has been opened here?”

And what a reckoning it will be!

There's supposed to be a six degree of separation rule, and Merchan's daughter Loren was at the first degree. A judge is not supposed to be in a position where a guilty verdict, makes his own daughter millions of dollars richer!!
No…There’s not!

Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that every single person on Earth is connected to one another by a maximum of 6 different relationships.

From Wikipedia:
Six degrees of separation is the idea that all people are six or fewer social connections away from each other. As a result, a chain of "friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps. It is also known as the six handshakes rule.[1]

A map of several branches and degrees of a small social group: Ryan is six
degrees of separation from Pablo

.

Don’t you get tired of being wrong about literally everything? 🤣

By your standard, every single person in the world is unfit to serve on a jury involving Trump…which, as I think of it, does seem to accurately reflect your pov…so…carry on…I guess

Judge Merchan was “Randomly Selected” for Two of Donald Trumps Cases, from a List he Wasn’t even On • From a list of 24 sitting judges, one judge was supposed to be “randomly selected” to take this case — Judge Merchan was selected, but he wasn’t even on the List… —— “he’s an “acting judge”
🤔
• Judge Merchan is not only a Biden Donor, he donated to an organization called “Stop Trump” • Judge Merchan was “randomly selected” for the following cases — Trump Hush Money Hoax Case — Trump organization Fraud Case — Steve Bannon Case As Trump says, it’s rigged!

Then in that case, neither do and both instances can be written off as an error.
Interesting.
I thought you were more invested in the "Trudeau invited a Nazi because he is a secret Nazi" story.

Your confirmation bias allows you to condemn one, while hypocritically giving the other a pass.

Your choice.
My choice?
Then I reject your incorrect framing.

I think you run into the same logic quagmire as the Trump and Edwards cases. The Congressional fund was a gentlemen's agreement using taxpayers money to conceal scandals from voters.

The difference was no prosecutor was going to take on the U.S. Congress.

It's my opinion that these payments are much closer in character then you might acknowledge.
But the hush money payments aren't the main issue.
It's the false paperwork and election interference.

It's another of trumps super powers- to reframe an issue into something not important or easier to disprove. He's got his believers thinking it was the state screwing him by allowing prosecution to present closing last when it's NY state law, etc etc. Another is Russian collusion in the Mueller report. 12 acts of obstruction were clearly documented. Clear evidence the Russians were everywhere. But it got framed as collusion, and an active one - which they did not do, although they welcomed the Russian help.

Re-read the context of my post.
Quote it in its entirety for easier reference.
See if you can grasp my point.
If not, re-read it again.

NEW: Chris Cuomo says the witch hunt trial against Trump should have NEVER happened. “This was a misdemeanor that was trumped up to felonies. To call it 34 counts is laughable because the 34 counts are different checks that were signed to pay back Cohen.” “I think it was a case that should not have been brought. And it was brought for the wrong reasons.”
