It is definitely a horrible message that in the US billionaires cannot defraud insurance companies and bank to enrich themselves and even they are subject to the law. Horrible message. Why would any billionaire who wants to commit fraud come to the US.

And, despite what @mitchell76 is posting, no Conservative billionaires are lining up to pay Trump's bond. But....this does make him a national security risk. When is a Russian Oligarch or someone linked to the Chinese government going to grease the wheels to get access....Or the Saudis, Qataris and Syrians...

This could be a serious issue....

The sad thing here is that Kevin O'Leary knows better. The type of loan that Trump got was NOT what contractors/developers use to finance new construction. He already had mortgages on his properties, so he had to go get loans from the private wealth unit. That's where rich folks and institutional investors might give a loan with different rates and requirements. So, this will not impact construction in NYC, it is totally within the constitution and Trump will be screwed if he doesn't get some cash by Monday. And the panic has already settled in....
