First, do you have any idea how difficult it is to coordinate such disparate parties to organize these things? FFS. Donald Trump and his band of "Green Bay Sweep" insurrectionists couldn't even do it without all the culprits either pleading guilty or being convicted and ssent to jail. Second... NOBODY has to coordinate anything to take down Trump six ways from Sunday. He is a lifetime liar, con man, cheat, fraud and fraudster. He may very well hold the world record for being sued by individuals and corporations alike. He was just too much of a narcissist to keep a low profile and enjoy the good life of a pussy-grabbing billionaire. He just HAD to try to run another self-promotional scheme and run for President. (He was as surprised as anyone that he actually won! Thanks to sad-sad rubes voting for a TV celebrity. ). So he himself invited closer scrutiny of his frauds and schemes>. There are LOTS of people who have a personal, visceral dislike for him to the same degree you have such a schoolgirl crush on him. Some of those people are in positions of power and were just so happy to use that to hold him responsible for his frauds.

If they had just kept things on a low profile, they might have been able to stay out of jail. I knew a guy who was the BIGGEST importer of cannabis (mostly hash oil) in the 70's through 2000. RCMP surveilled him for decades and only arrested him once. And he got bail that day. Charges withdrawn. Died of liver failure at age 70.
