Holiday Inn at airport giving really bad vibe?

FWIW, except for the parking I really like that hotel.
I was there last week and it was jammed. I went for lunch in Perkins (to get my parking validated too!) after my session and ended up chatting with and being invited to sit with a nice Ukrainian woman and her son. Seems a Ukrainian church has sponsored a whole lot of Ukrainian refugees and they were being hosted at this Holiday in for two weeks.
Anyways, never had any bad vibes or experiences there.

This guy acts super suspicious then wonders why people treat him suspiciously? He dresses like a kidnapper, runs away from cops investigating a kidnapping, and wonders why they chased him. He parks in a grass field 50 feet away from a parking meter and thinks it's some kind of elaborate trap. He repeatedly enters the wrong hotels and parking lots and wonders why people question why he's there. I think he just might be making this shit up!

I suddenly got paranoid lying in my bed reading this that maybe I’m currently getting a ticket and being listened to typing outside my
door and I’m going to put my eye mask on and hope no one’s there.

the lot when you saw the camera which already got you is likely causing others to be like- what’s his deal ?! lol
this your first time ?also that area in general is sketchy. industrial. transient. Holiday inn in general is sketchy.

private parking tickets can occur if beyond time

Don’t go doing weird things I’m the parking lot. People could be watching you from their cars or their rooms. Staff during breaks. So you look like someone to watch. Mind your business and they’ll mind theirs. Don’t be drunk or on drugs. This makes you paranoid
finally, asking the booker ? Why would she know lol. why would she set you up. Why would she be investigation the police in the area. She’s busy and like hell
if I know. You got this ! its the holiday inn you don’t need to pace the halls erasing your phone.
Also if one is really paranoid they can check the live city emergency dispatches which give vague descriptions of why they are attending an intersection

sorts from 5-60 minutes and never once asked if i need anything or what im
doing and the staff talk
about normal boring topics between people
coming to the desk whether hotel or condo. I also don’t look like im bad news or homeless. I just sit with eyes closed. If you’re sighing and looking distressed. Muttering aloud then yes someone will notice and be inquisitive
I've been at that location a few times. It really is a bad hotel for clients wishing to blend in.
If I was stopped by a friend or family member, there is zero reason why I should be there. No restaurant, no starbucks, no coffee shop. I know that if I ran in to a male friend, chances are he is there for the same reason. But, I still want to say that popped in for a coffee or meeting someone at the bar. In my head, I can sell that.
Secondly, the exits which are closer to the rooms is great for a quick departure; however, one must navigate that large parking lot to enter the lobby. Again, odd to not park near the entrance.
It is a looooong walk from the lobby to the room, passing staff who know why you are here and others who may include the odd client.
The place has the vibes of a sleazy hotel.
Honestly, I stopped seeing ladies who hosted from this location.
Best place IMHO is Sandman. The hotel is off the main strip with access from the rear right, close to the elevators with limited view of the front desk desk. Walk in with a coffee and head to the elevators.
The hotel and a restaurant share the lot. Easy explanation should one crosses paths with a friend/family/colleague.
Btw, I've seen a lady and the met up with the boys at the bar.
Hope the agencies are reading this...

Some of you are overthinking things too much. Has anyone here ever run into someone they know at an incall, especially at an airport hotel? What are the odds of this happening? Why would anyone you know be at a hotel in your/their hometown, especially near the airport? If it did happen, I would just say I'm meeting a work colleague from out of town.
I know people who live in a condo that's a popular agency incall, and I've never run into them there. That's way more likely than running into someone at a hotel. If I did I would just say I have another friend who lives there.

Police scanners are digital and encrypted these days so you can't listen in anymore. With enough effort, I'm sure someone can crack that encryption though. If you're going to the trouble of decrypting emergency broadcasts, then you should just stay home because your own shadow might scare you.
...there is a Perkins right there. I've never eaten there. Apparently it's a chain (just found out today) and there is only one in Toronto. You can say you're trying out the Perkins.
I think I'll do it next time, take a few photos of their menu, memorize their special items, so that I can come up with an excuse of "trying out their amazing food, it's recommended to me by a colleague".
So how do you get into the lobby in the first place without buzz code? If security sees you come in by following someone they might question you, or even ask you put down your name, I've had that. I think it's way better off to wait outside as if you're waiting for somebody, it's out of the security's jurisdiction.
Just curious - will you be wearing your hoodie, a mask, and your sunglasses while you take the photo of the menu ?? (just in case the security cameras in the Perkins catch your suspicious looking behavior - one can never be too careful after all !!)
Back in the day, their rising arm barrier on the exit side had a loophole: the gap was large enough to allow a sedan to squeeze through, so I never paid for parking on numerous occasions, I go there less these days but dunno if they had me on file, that's why I get nervous seeing those parking enforcement assholes, and that's why I lift up the hood of that hoodie when I enter the parking lot in an attempt to cover up my face in front of that camera.
I don't wear sunglasses, hoodie and mask in the lobby, I'm not a moron, but you can definitely wear sunglasses and mask in the car as you enter the parking lot, it's my private space.
Considering some of the stupidity I've seen from the members of this board, I wouldn't be surprised if he telling the truth.
Some of TERB's members are "How are you a functional adult?!" level stupid.
Just park across Dixon at the OTA building or at St Louis…. 2 minute walk back…..jeeeees !!!

I love this idea, because I saw "District 78 IAMAW International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers" in the same plaza, it's trade union office, they definitely won't be working long hours in the evening and weekends, so plenty of spaces, there's also Red Cross office beside it, so maybe I'll park my car on the opposite side of trade union office close to the charity, so nobody knows if I'm doing charity or union business. Screw those parking enforcement assholes.
If anything I can say I just want to check out St Louis Bar & Grill, it's more believable than Perkins, which is inside a hotel.

Dunno man, that plaza is kind of hidden with a long, lonely driveway without a sidwalk. There's also high voltage towers overhead.
