I was thinking about starting a thread about Trump's promises to enact a whole bunch of authoritarian measures on his first day while the alleged freedom crew cheer him on but then I came across this.
Seems that many Red States have far worse personal freedoms with Texas being the worst of the bunch.

I wonder of it's too late for the self described libertarians to wake up and actually listen to what the new right is actually calling for.

If you weren't spending so much time arguing for apartheid people might take this thread more seriously.
But as it is, you complain about Texas but it reads as incredibly liberal to your favourite place.

Freedom is slavery and slavery is freedom - It's part of doublethink...

And once again, frank tries to make every thread about his racist Jew obsession.

Yeah, but they have ECONOMIC AND REGULATORY freedom.
That's the tradeoff they are offering - and one Cato finds important.

That's why Texas is 50th in personal freedom but 17th in overall freedom.

Always depends on the scale and what you think is important.

Stop pushing antisemitic tropes, basketcase.
I am critical of Israeli policy and zionism, not the Jewish people.

Every day you prove how disgusting anti-semites can be.

You have been very clear, especially with your repeated claims of all of Israel being illegally occupied, that you object to Jews being in the region, not Israeli policy.

And pathetically, you simultaneously claim criticism of Hamas tactics are racist. You're the biggest fucking joke here because you somehow actually believe you have a moral compass.

And that is exactly my point. The economic and regulatory freedoms only helps the extremely wealthy and the corporations. And the people I'm commenting on are typical 'freedom' advocate who explicitly fixates on personal freedoms (think the anti-masker types) which many red states are horrible in.

But sure, if I were a major CEO hoping to profit off the masses, I might choose Florida or Texas.

I support the rule of the law.
End illegal settlements, occupation, blockade, apartheid and genocide.

Hold the leaders of both sides to the law.
Allow Palestinians full human rights and equality under the law.

Nobody has to leave, just give them equal rights.
Why are you so against equal rights?

Except for the Palestinians in which case you keep making excuses, even when your rights groups say otherwise.

Nobody has to leave, just give them equal rights.
...
Still wanting to force Palestinians into something they hate and pretending that Hamas and all the other terror factions will start singing kumbaya?

Israel has already forced Palestinians into something they hate, the occupation, blockade and apartheid.
Its time to fix those.

Give Palestinians equal rights.
Why are you so against equal rights?
Why do you only support genocide and killing Palestinians?

Obsessive hate speech again. It's pathetic that you think Palestinians are so far beneath you that they can't be held accountable for their choices.

And you claim to hate Israel for forcing the Palestinians into something they hate while you are pushing the exact same rejection of Palestinian self-determination.

Are you claiming you think Palestinians have chosen to be occupied, chosen to live in a concentration camp, chosen the blockade and now chosen genocide?

That's really quite fucked up.

I support BDS, a Palestinian movement to end apartheid.
You can't get more Palestinian in your support than that, a movement that is backed by 80% of Palestinians.

All you've got is a war criminal leader in court for corruption while 4/5 Israelis demand he resign.
And the genocide you've been dreaming of for years.

Wow your posts are stupid.

But yes, Palestinian leadership have rejected every possible peace plan and movement since the 1930's and have chosen to use violence to try and rid the region of Jews. Hamas is still dedicated to the perpetuation of violence as they admitted in the recent Times article.

I know you think Palestinians are incapable of being responsible for their choices but that's just your racist elitism.

Sorry dude, but Israel is the illegal, military occupying force.
The only reason the occupation is ongoing is because Israel won't end it.

So in your mind that justifies attacks on Jews for 30 years before Israel existed and 48 years before Israel took the West Bank from Jordan. Sadly you have repeatedly stated all of Israel is "occupied".

More importantly your racist elitism has you believing Palestinian leaders can't be held accountable for their choices to use violence instead of peace.

Palestinians have a legit right to self defence against the occupation, yes. That's not 'attacks on Jews' as you like to call it, just attacks on the Israeli occupation. Are you claiming that Israel is only a country of Jews now?

And once again Frank calls attacks on Jewish civilians and Hamas' butchery of them "self defence".

If Hamas were to fight the Israeli military I wouldn't be describing them as terrorists and you can see I haven't expressed the slighted comment on Israeli soldiers dying in combat. But Hamas explicitly targets civilians and you cheer it on, pretending it's the Palestinian right to kill Jewish civilians.
