I'm scared shitless and need some advice.

I just got a text from what appears to be a pimp.

"Listen well, this is Thomas, I contact you about a matter that is happening with several of my girls. Your Number has been reported because you were bothering them and that you are only wasting their time and their time is valuable here and it is also money, so that you are going to reach an agreement with me, do not try to avoid my messages because it will be worse for you, and you will have consequences for not having done things well for making my girl waste her time.. #!?"

Usually I wouldn't care, but given how interconnected everything is these days and data breaches, I'm worried he has ways to fuck with my life.

I know I shouldn't respond, but at this point I am terrified .I feel like my married life is about to get fucked completely because of this stupid habit

Any advice?

I'm already thinking cancelling my cell phone and start looking at changing /securing bank accounts.

Did you waste their time??
Did you use your own cell #??

It seems that a lot of these extortion scams are popping up. Imagine if you ignore/ block it will go away.

Sadly, yes. My own cell. I am that stupid.

I'm in the process of getting a new number.

What type of contact did you have with them, if you know. Did you contact a leolist ad? If so it seems that many are popping up that are scams like this. I think they count on the volume of potential victims, knowing that a few will pay up, rather than carrying through with the threats.
Exactly. It was a LeoList ad.

Well, 3 LeoLost ads I texted. Had an appointment with 1, two went unanswered.

Block the number with that message - problem solved. No different than the other 20-30 scams that arrive each week about security breaches and free stuff.

If you want to help your fellow terbites you could post all 4 numbers on here so they can avoid dealing with these “people”.

That's genius... But I got rid of them the day after I sent initial contact.

I will scan the for the two ads and share them if I find them again.

About 2 years ago I was sort of in this situation. Went to see a new provider from Leolist and when I got in to appointment and after I paid, she said she need to take a photo of my id for her safety. Can't really argue that very well so I let her take the photo, immediately she goes ape shit and starts yelling at me that she is going to post my face online and contact people I know etc. etc. Needless to say I left, out the money and terrified I was going to see my picture on the news or something. Nothing ever came of it, I assume she was just scamming cash and this was her way to get you to leave. Since that experience my hobbying has gone from monthly visits to a variety of providers to only visiting someone I have been referred to specifically and since she retired 10 months ago I haven't seen anyone. :(

get yourself a burner phone tomorrow. I waited years before doing it, but now it is something you need for your own safety and keeping your two lives separate.

Unfortunately, these types of scams are more and more frequent. I had an irrational pimp try to extort money from me because after booking, luterally one minute, I got called into work( I was incall) so I cancelled. He went crazy so I blocked him and never looked back. Make sure you get a free text app so no one can trace you. That way you will be safer. I don’t condone those two just waste providers time though. Only text if you are serious.

Oh, agree completely. I sent out 3 texts about 15 minutes apart each. Only one replied to me, so just deleted the others.

That is so clear now, after crapping my panta.

I'm checking options for simple text plan and a throwaway phone now.

Ive received two of these in two years (total time in).

1. Its probably the girls themselves. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the "lovely" ladies are not always so soft and kind and are actually just there for the money. The reason I say this is because I've strayed far from the typical, low budget options and have stayed pretty strictly to Spas and reputable providers as seen through here and twitter- I will literally cancel any appointment if I get any bad sense at all- from sketchy neighborhood, to changing numbers, canceled twitters, rebrands etc. Reason being that a provider that takes some pride and has any sense of professionalism understands that building a personal brand is extremely important in this line of work. You live and die by the word of mouth- so its extremely costly to do anything that amounts to losing any of that. That has been my primary source of choosing a SP, and it turns out well for 99.99% of the time.

2. I just call the police and tell them this happened. I give them a phone number, time of messages, type of messages- one of the included a graphic photo or people and animals- and of course, tell them I feel safe. Why would I feel safe after recieving such a message? Well, simple. First, I give false information. Fake name. I use twitter's/email easy way to fake an identity- of course just the crucial- address, name, location etc. I do say my race, height and weight and all else they ask for. That way when I do get a message like that I know they are bogus because they don't even know my real name.
