Its all about the trolling.This guy is several decades behind the times. He stopped learning new things when he blocked me. He is clearly not Asian nor has many Asian friends, which is not surprising.

'Its ok to be white' takes a phrase with an obvious meaning that is inoffensive but places it in a context where it becomes offensive, same way 'blue lives matter' did.
The intent is to troll, to make people take a stand against the offensive context then claim its all about the inoffensive original statement.
There is no good way to answer, if you disagree the trolls say 'you are a racist who thinks its not ok to be white' if you agree you give power to a group of trolls out to both minimize the import of systematic racism and shift blame for systematic racism to those who identify the sources of systematic racism.
The best way is just to identify that dirty harry is trolling.
The most discriminated against demographic in much of the western world are white heterosexual conservative men-bonus discrimination if they're a practicing Christian.
It doesn't matter who uses the phrase. It remains innocuous. That some kids living in their mom's basement and posting on an internet forum made you and millions of others think otherwise is pathetic.

That's why it's important to implicitly trust anything a 'scientist' says. Particularily when we already agree with them.

Perhaps and I also suspect with many it's more about, "how dare a woman push back." I notice you attract an abnormal amount of dissenters for some pretty vanilla posts.
I enjoyed Dilbert back in the day when print was the norm and you look forward to the comics first thing in the morning. But nowadays I don't even remember the last time I read Dilbert or any of the others.
This is true. I think I am the most outspoken woman on this board so it makes sense that I will get the brunt of any woman hating type posts.
It’s all water off a ducks back to me personally. None of these guys can hold a torch to my abusive ex. After therapy from him, words just don’t have the effect most people are hoping for. Although I would like to think I give back as good as I get. LOL
What saddens me though is it stops other women from participating in the board. Which I guess is more of a loss for the respectful men on this board. I am sure they would like more interaction from the ladies but TERB is just not an emotionally safe space for them for the most part.
Maybe he has been to the Oriental Institute in Chicago, IL. Really impressive, though I don't remember seeing many Asians there either of the times I have been. Don't expect any name changes there...

As an Asian, I can tell you that being called Oriental is offensive. I prefer the term Asian. However, if an older person calls me Oriental, I just chalk it up to not being up to date. This term has been obsolete since the 90's.
As far as Scott Adams, I think he is in the wrong.
When police brutally beat and murdered black people without justification for decades, black people finally had enough. Remember the man who was shot in the back multiple times while running away from the police? Or George Floyd? Or Eric Garner, the man who was choked to death, begging for his life and saying he couldn't breathe? Well, black people wanted to know that their live did in fact matter. They were not less because of the color of their skin. Thus the BLM movement.
White trolls mocked this movement, belittling what they stood for.
Same with It's OK to be white. While, it's obvious an inncous statement, it's sinister motive behind it is to inflame and provoke black people who have resentment towards whites in general because of systemic racism and brutality.
