Well without a disclosure of the evidence against him we're just not sure of what is going on here.
Possibly the Romanian officials are revisiting past events and feel they have found new grounds to lay charges.
Perhaps…but as far as I can tell the Tates continued to operate their online porn business right up until the day they were arrested. They likely committed numerous new offences between April - December.
Moreover, we only know of the 6 victims identified from the original raid; I would assume the investigators have been seeking out and interviewing other women who “worked” for the Tates over the years. Who knows how many more charges might arise from that?
Also…given the amount of publicity this has received, I would anticipate many more women who have been abused by the Tates will start coming forward.
I believe that when all of this is said and done the Tates will be looking at some serious prison time (if the matrix doesn’t bump them off first).
Just a second. There are 3 grounds to deny someone bail, 2 of which the commentator dealt with. As follows:
1. Continuing danger to the community.
2. Flight risk.

Why do you find it difficult to believe, though? He has been arrested for doing all of the things that he has been boasting about for years. If Al Capone had gone around bragging like this they never would have had to prosecute him for tax evasion.
The only surprise to me is that the Romanian authorities acted on this. However, I think international pressure from the US embassy got the investigation going. Plus, as you said, bragging online about how the Romanian authorities can’t touch you makes them look bad and is kinda daring them to prosecute you.
Anyway, none of this strikes me as surprising and I’m sure more shit will come out about the Tates as this thing unfolds.
