Interesting. Do you happen to have the story behind it?
From wikiipedia:

The 1984-85 Detroit Red Wings were the first team documented to wear them. Wings forwards Ivan Boldirev and Danny Gare began the practice in Jan. 1985, trying to inspire the team to win four straight games. Defenseman Brad Park called it his "playoff beard" - thus coining the phrase. (from the Detroit Free Press, Feb. 3, 1985 - article by Bernie Czarniecki)

Correct Answer was ;
Steve Shutt (answered by KD)
Lanny Macdonald
Bernie Nicholls
Damn I should have gotten Nicholls. He actually put up 70 goals and never even had a 50 goal season prior. Crazy. Lanny I never would have gotten, wow.

Nope Savard, Correct Oates!

My mistake , there was only one other player, not 2
I believe Joe Thornton had more than one 90 assist season. I thought Stastny did as well but nope he only had 1.

Between 1970 and 2012, only two NCAA final 4 MVPs never ended up played a regular season NBA game. They both won the award in the early 90s? Name one of the two.
Added Hint — one of the coaches of the players was known for chewing towels .. the other coach was known for chewing the clock.
Anderson Hunt UNLV for sure. I'm drawing a blank on the 2nd one.

Correct. I originally did the question with Anderson Hunt in mind — that UNLV team was pretty memorable so figured somebody might get it.

But found out there was one other when verifying the Q, so I had to ask for 1 of 2, in case somebody surprisingly answered Donald Williams of UNC.

This player is tied with Joe Sakic for most game tying or go ahead 3rd period and OT PLAYOFF goals since 1979?
Hint - This player is only 123rd in Career Goals.

This team won the WWF Tag Team Titles via pin fall at a Canadian house show event in 1987 — a title change that was never recognized by the WWF. Verified by me as I was there.
answer = The Rougeau Brothers at the Montreal Forum

Which three-time NBA Champion holds the NBA record for most regular season 'Googles', (ie: a game in which he played, but had zero statistics in points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocks - personal and technical fouls are not 'google' criteria)?

Stump.

it’s probably not Patrick McCaw but that is who I am guessing based on the head scratches Nurse provided in 2020 by keeping on playing him.

Nope.

Patrick McCaw IS a three-time NBA Champion, but he's not the Google King.

Hint: He's White.
