Should be an interesting race until Ferrari cock things up while Charles is leading. Max will make mince meat out of the cars ahead of him. By the 3rd lap he will be in 2nd.

Lewis will struggle at the back of the grid. Sainz won't fair much better than Hamilton Danny Ric will start strong but fade away after 10 laps.

Going to miss the race as I will be going to the London Airshow.
PVR the race? You should be able to listen to the audio as you drive?

Enjoy the show, been once to see the show in London. Very different to the show by the water front.

This will be the 4th time I've been.
I like the drive in and park your car and bring your own food and chairs etc. It's better than parking off site and being bused in like previous years.
Going to have static displays this year after not having any last year due to covid.

My prediction was a little off.

Max was in second by the end of the first lap.

Sainz and Hamilton carved their way to the front better than I though.

Danny Ric was on form, started well, Lando passed him and his race was over. Then his car died.

Latifi is done, Nik killed him, walked away with driver of the day. The Williams might not be the dog everyone thinks it is.

Do not see why Sky F1 was sour about the safety car at the end.

Soon as I saw Danny's car parked by the road side where it was I was stunned race control did not toss the red flag straight away. They waited a lap to decide to deploy the safety car. I do not get why race control can not make a snap call. F1 teams make some calls with seconds to think.

What they need to do is simple if the safety car is deployed and they want the slow cars out of the way. Instead of being allowed to pass the pace car, make them slow and let the fast car pass through. Seems like such a simple rule, and it would be fast. This way they could use the safety car and let the race restart FAST.

Who cares about slower cars not being allowed to un-lap themselves. They got passed because they are too fn slow, in F1 there is no point letting the slower cars have a fighting chance to get back into the race, because we all know that they will NEVER get back into the race. Move to the side let the fast cars go by and restart the race FAST. It's a simple elegant solution.

Future trivia: Nyck De Vries drove for two different teams at his first Grand Prix race weekend. In addition to scoring a deuce as a fill-in driver for Williams, he drove for Aston Martin in the first practice session. De Vries has also driven in practice for Williams at the Spanish Grand Prix and for Mercedes in France. Nyck has two wins this season for Mercedes in the Formula E World Championship. He's the F-1 reserve driver for Mercedes.

Many years ago, De Vries' two points would not have counted for Williams in the Constructor's Championship, because he was not designated as a driver for the team at the beginning of the season.

DR's car was parked at the side of the track, there was no damage to the track. That's why no red flag.
The munza marshalls took their sweet old time removing the car though.

Can't beat them on the race track, Wolff needs is trying a different approach LOL
Must be hard for Toto to be so perfect. Now I know where Hamilton gets it from.
