Lots of reports today that Russia is buying artillery shells from North Korea.
They were supposed to have a very massive stock....

All going according to the plan.

Page #57,528 of the plan: "waste, deplete, squander stockpiles; pay a 1000% an autocrat-to-autocrat's ransom premium to unearth a 2 week supply; rinse and repeat every 2 weeks"

A bear doesn't have to do much right to prevail in a fight against a rabbit. If he does anything right at all, he wins the battle. This particular bear is an odious character who has no business being in the Ukraine, but people need to stop pretending that the Ukrainians can prevail militarily (in the short run).

Hard to say. Ukraine's military is smaller, but more engaged and motivated. They appear to be better trained, are getting better equipment, and know the local area better than the Russian's. Those are major advantages. I'm not going to say I'm 100% convinced that they'll push Russia out, but I think they will continue to inflict a hell of a lot of damage on Russian troops, equipment and materials.

But it's not a Bear because it won't declare war and mobilize fully.

It's sort of a nasty little dog.
