In the last few years I can't recall seeing so many young Terb members. Why all of a sudden is there such an increase in young blood? Lockdowns and restrictions likely attributed to the cause, but also a change in culture in general.

Reading about a 20 year old losing virginity to an SP brings a conflict of emotions. On one hand I'm happy for any person who finds happiness through this hobby, on the other I feel sadness for young folks who venture down this path in their 20's.

Personally I believe that 20's is too soon for this hobby. This is the time in life for trial and error, emotions, relationships etc.

Hmmm I think from the very view gentlemen's I talked too within the same age range as me

It mainly came down to them coming out of long term relationships, covid lockdown and simply just wanting some human interaction between the sheets that's for that guaranteed fun

But honestly I don't mind that the younger guys are slowly going into the hobbyist route

Young adults can do anything they want. This thread is Not a knock on anyone. I understand all the reasons why young men would choose to see SP.

This is more of a CAN vs SHOULD.

I don't think it's wise for people in 20's to get plastic surgeries, botox, liposuction etc. Moving around in an electric scooter or a wheelchair for someone who's able is also not a great idea. Point is - some things we should work for. Just because something is easier doesn't mean it's better.

This is simply MY perspective. I had so much going on in my 20's that paying for sex was likely on the very bottom of my list. Being intimate with someone who's emotionally involved is so much greater than any paid experience. I simply feel that young men who hobby, handicap themselves in a way. Getting into this hobby too young will affect all future relationships and this thought makes me sad.

Hobbying is great but it's artificial. I wish for younger men to have more natural experiences before they supplement.

The first time I had sex, it was with a civilian. I was 23; there were several reasons why I didn't end up getting laid in my teens, which I won't go into.

She was actually cheating on her boyfriend with me; it didn't last, for obvious reasons. Terrible way to lose my virginity in hindsight.

The thing is, she was too uppity to give me a Blowjob. I had to see an SP to get my first one of those.

After that, it was all pay for play. I am going to be 40 soon. The only way I know how to have sex is to pay for it; relationships are out of the question. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

Once a 20 year old, who has no prior experience, starts walking down this road - he is going to end up the same as me. I guarantee it.

I agree that the internet has led to a lack of development of young peoples' social skills. In the case of my son he would always choose to do transactions via the internet rather than in person. Basically he was introverted and that was a way for him to avoid face to face interactions.

I believe it also hampered his approach to dating. Even though he is a good-looking guy in his mid-twenties he has just recently started dating. The first time it was because a young lady approached him at a party, so he did not have to take the initiative. After he had "broken the ice" he started using online dating services. He is enjoying that, but finds first dates awkward, and hates the unavoidable lulls in the conversation.

On top of that he used to jack off regularly to porn on the internet, which in my opinion gives young guys in general the wrong expectations regarding sex. First of all he has an average size dick (just like his old man), and is probably intimidated by the hogs the porn stars are sporting. Also he may be expecting a "female porn star" response from the young ladies he has sex with, and in turn they may be surprised at what he might try to do to them, thinking its perfectly normal cuz that's what he saw on the net.

Most young men today just cannot compete with such expectations, let alone meet them. It is far cheaper to have a quick nut for a few hundred bucks than to pay thousands for a kiss and a bunch of useless promises.....'

In the past, social bonding was a good idea. Today, it is a minefield. Stay away for society. It is a douche-fest.....

The Cell has destroyed both Genders all over the world. PERIOD.

I go to a 12 step program and when the divorce women come in, it gets interesting from their point of view or narrative for awhile then it becomes depressing.

They don't want to change at all. Dating or having sex with strangers is not healing or fixing your internal issue as to why you have so many flaws.
