Not sure about Canada but when Keith Morrison left for the U.S. many years ago the word on the street is he was offered $400,000. Apparently, he is now making $3mm. Also, he is still married to Suzzane Perry.

CP 24 probably doesn't pay them a huge chunk of change. I'd imagine $150,000 - $300,000 for anchors, depending on how good their agents are. Reporters, probably hit $80s to $120K.

I don't think they paid so high, lots of them left in the past couple of years, some went on to do independently abd some on cbc or ctv news

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Ryerson (now TMU) has always been considered as having the best journalism course in Canada, compared to Western or Carleton. Especially when looking for a job in the field. It's difficult to get into.

Seneca and Humber have excellent broadcast journalism courses, They may be graduates of those schools.

Depends on how popular/good they are. Big name personalities get paid big like for example Ann Rohmer got paid big bucks. gurdeep and pooja left for more $$$ because they became big household name
thanks to the pandemic.

a lot of them are not even full time. Like for example Jennifer is just filling in for Mika. She isn’t getting 6 figures.

the con is that the more money you make in this industry the more likely you will be let go if the company decides to make cuts. Like for example Kevin Frankish and Steve Antony.

Lol Brandon Gomez, Karman Wong left too, they both created they own channels. cp24 doesn't pay well or maybe it just trashy network that likes to repeats the same thing over agian.
