The question is: is this really a victory for Russia? The city is leveled, the population is gone and there's no way Russia can hold on to the territory (unless NATO goes soft). Not to mention that it took them months to reduce one city.

Russia is breaking Ukraine so that the West won’t want to invest in rebuilding it. Scorch earth, nothing for Europe to use. It’s a cheap and effective strategy. Chechnya suffered this fate.

I'm sure Comrade Tucker Carlson is celebrating this "great victory" for his hero Putin's motherland.
Parliament is preparing a new law in Russia. It’s gona be about the “azov fighters”.. they will never be traded!
It was supposed to be just the wounded, but there were just 52 wounded and 265 simply surrendered, however I am surprised to even see a title here “azov surrendered” it had to be twisted at least somehow..

This war will go on for the remainder of the year at least. Putin is counting on MAGAs taking over the US government and withdrawing support for Ukraine. Their motto, "I'd rather be Russian than a Democrat".

The Russians are deploying the same tactics they used in Cechnya and Syria, bombing hospitals, schools and nurseries. A terror tactic that worked for them but is now only strengthening the resolve of Ukrainians to resist. Putana will have to make a formal declaration of war in order to institute a draft...it should be as popular there as it was in the USA during the Vietnam War.

The EU has every reason to help Ukraine rebuild. The country is a large exporter of grain and vegetable oils, Africa is looking at impending mass starvation. Will the USA stab Europe in the back in 2023.

They going to be show-trialed and murdered. Everyone knew that. It's what Russia does best.

Ukrainians are going to capture way more of your people and they'll murder them in exchange.

I believe they ran out of food. The steel works was impregnable and could never have been stormed.

Slava Ukraini!

Once Putin is gone and Russia tries to end sanctions that will be a different story.
Same with the 200,000 kids they stole.

That battalion was killing Russians in Donetsk for 8 years. And pope Francis didn’t care. Him meeting the wives of professional killers is weird to say the least…

As I have said from the outset, Russia's invasion is, of course, unjustified, but this is a war that Ukraine cannot win AT THIS TIME. A negotiated peace is their best option. They need to wait out the collapse of the Putin regime and/or other events that might justify NATO engagement. They tried to fight the Russians, and had the advantage of being the defender in fortified positions, but the Russian army (as bad as it is) is just too large and unprincipled.

That is the reality. The Brits are saying the combat strength of the Russian army has been reduced by 1/3 but what reminds is still large. Also, Russia (unlike the West) has no concerns about killing innocent civilians (including children).

Brits always have a lot to say..they love to produce videos as well. That’s a historic fact!

I have to agree with every single word you just said. It’s called common sense.

Ukraine has already won.
Before the war Putin already had Donbas, they had declared independence.

Putin's war was to take over all of Ukraine and they've failed and lost that war.
The best he can do is now to take over Donbas by force, destroying most of it in the process and alienating the people who were on his side before.
total failure

Maybe the Pope doesn't believe the bullshit and lies on Russian propaganda shows?

That's because his brain hasn't been fried 24/7 by 2 decades worth of Russian state approved brain scrubbing.
