The few associate with the many.
The many don't associate with the few.
That applies to both of the sides you mentioned.........
Which would play a lot better if 40%+ of registered Republicans didn't also believe that Trump actually won the 2020 presidential election.

On the right, only a minority might believe in pee-drinking, JFK Jr reincarnating in Dallas and Space Lizards secretly running Planet Earth, but a far larger % believe in stuff that's almost as wack.

He's only partially right.

He needs to study Frank Zappa.

Frank was right about a lot of things, and was politically conservative in his views. Seems like there are a lot of institutions, such as universities, enforcing laws that haven't been passed yet.

My broken clock is right twice a day.

The problem with Peterson (in my humble opinion) is he is so full of hate, likely a bigot, and generally narrow minded. However, he is smart… A very compelling speaker, and puts his hatred in to very clinical language. He dresses it up in Professor speak…. And too many, it makes it sound like what he talking about is intelligent. It’s the language that fools you.
What nonsense. How about some examples of that hate and bigotry? It should be easy; plenty of youtube material out there also books, lectures and published, peer reviewed papers.

Yup, just as I suspected. Jordon Peterson is once again doing what he does best: whining.

Another white, middle-aged, heterosexual male who is fucked right off with the world because white, middle-aged, heterosexual males are no longer the centre of the universe.

You know how people say Donald Trump is a poor man's idea of what a rich man looks like? Well, Jordan Peterson is a stupid man's idea of what a smart man looks like.

Signed, yours truly, a white, middle-aged, heterosexual male.

so let me ask you all this: imagine 1944-1945 when US and Soviets were working hard on who can build an atomic bomb first.

Would you want the US to be inclusive when they pick people to work on the project or would you want it to be done strictly on the merits?

Last time I checked, they were independent institutions and could run their own internal and academic affairs.

Peterson main tenant is individual sovereignty and personal responsibility. He is against group identity.

Which is why he is reviled by the left.

To say that he is motivated by hate is erroneous.

I find most people who think these things of him have been swayed by cleverly edited clips of his or are basing their opinions on somebody else's.

Instead read his second book ''12 Rules For Life'' or watch the 30 minute video of his interview with Cathy Newman on YouTube.

In other words go directly to the source and judge for yourself

Frank had contempt for most people, I’d bet like Jordan Peterson he despised the idea of social justice.

Not sure the example is good. This was a critical moment in history.

The chief of police of Montreal-North (a mainly black/latino neighborhood) should definitely try to diversify his recruiting to make sure not to hire all white buddies of his... You need to make sure your effective is representative of the population it has to protect.

If you do not integrate you devise. And long run that is the worst thing you want.

Same rule apply to the social sciences - like psych, history, sociology - or the arts?

Surely the more subjective you get, the less sheer ability can be objectively measured and the more your personality is influenced by your background?

I decided to turn lefty and fight for equality. 100% of our bricklayers and concrete finishers are male earning more than double than the Canadian average and some a lot more. That is simply criminal. I will strive to make sure we get 50% women to do the job. We have to smash that concrete ceiling!

Do you ever stop bitching and moaning? You sound like a bloody squeaky door hinge.

I'd taunt you more, but I am already skating on thin ice with the mods for berating another poster last month.

You know, there is this thing called civility that's derived from good manners. It enables one to engage in a conversation without berating. You can Google it.
