How overstated has this been from the beginning of the pandemic? How many of those who we have recorded as died from Covid19 actually died from something else unrelated, such as sepsis.
The fact that.the vast majority of the covid casualties are among the seniors makes a correct count impossible. How do you classify a death of an 80 years old individual with multiple comorbidities living in the LTC facility?
If only we had professionals that make these kinds of evaluations.

Not buying this, we have seen this here in Canada already, more specifically, in Alberta.
Last June Premier Jason Kenney announced the pandemic was "over", restrictions were ending and Alberta was, and I am quoting him here, "open for summer."
The result, of course, was that by September the province that already had the lowest vaccination rate now had a health system on the brink of collapse due to all the COVID cases, and on top of this, was relying on other provinces to care for its COVID patients so the health system didn't completely implode.
Not one to learn from his mistakes, Kenney announced in December that unvaccinated Albertans were free to attend gatherings with friends and family over the holidays. And now, right on cue, three weeks after the holidays have ended, COVID cases are spiking in Alberta.
