The grass is always greener on the other side.... a few of you have no idea or a false idea of what you think or speak of.
To add, it's mostly stars make the obscene amount of money.

to go one further…. The countless hours of practise and house league games it takes to get to that level is something nobody ever considers. The money spent by hockey parents is crazy.
You don’t what your are talking about on this one…. Retirement homes were chronically understaffed.
Hockey costs the most to play and pays the least out of all the 4 major sports.
I am talking about clock watchers and desk jockeys with a computer as a prop, and an attitude.

It's just urban legend that these titans of a mouse click here and mouse click there don't earn 15K for those 2 mouse clickings.
To break this shakedown industry's back we need Provincial legislation to shatter their monopoly of selling prices for homes.
Once we have equal access to that data, their black hand shakedown of the Ronnie and Rebecca's of Sunnybrook Farms evaporates in an instant.
Firefighters and police. Sit around all day and only have to rush into dangerous situations very irregularly and not as often as people think.

In my life, I can honestly say that I've had such bad experiences with nurses in general. Due to injury I spent a lot of time in the hospital... Abandonment is a better description for the care I received. The orderlies looked out for me and the doctor saved me. I was so petrified to shit, that I'd wait for my parents. Letting me overflow my piss jug so that I wrecked my bed and then yelling at me. Never answering my call. Stealing my snacks that people brought to make up for the hospital food... Did it get better over time? No...
As a father I watched one of my children receive such poor care... I can't shake the anger. I thought my wife was going to murder them for their borderline buffoonery. Shocking.
I get rankled when people insist they get called heroes.
I dont think nursres are overpaid. The median salary for a person with a univeristy educstiin is 85k. Nurses max out at 93k and average 68k. To earn max they likely need to have quite a bit of exprrience.
Im sorry to the person who had 2 bad experiences with nurses.
I suggest anyone who thinks they are overpaid should go work in an alzheimers ward.
Also i think people may not realize there are different types of nurses. For example, there used to be rpns which are college educated nurses. They are paid less than their univerosty countetparts.

Nurse or any one out there.
After High school I volunteered at the hospital. I seen some people work hard and others not. I did notice they like to bury themselves in paperwork to avoid walking. Walking is the hard work, attending patients.
Like in life, this applies to "ALL people not just nurses", whether you have University or College nursing, if you are pretty you may be pushed into the soft area of work and if ugly into the hard wing of the hospital. No matter where a Nurse ends up, ICU, Emergency, Children, Insurances; old folks with mental issues or house visit, you will always find 4 types of people or workers. Not my job doing minimal routine;, I work accountable;, I am here for the money I pretend to do the work if I get caught oh well;, Don't want to do I am here for the money and will act like ass. I seen Nurses that cared but they were held back.
In the end life is 30% fate, 50% chances and 20% of your choices.

The most overpaid people in our society are the ones getting paid to not contribute like
