There's a difference. KR appears to have been under some deluded, juvenile impression that he was there to help. So he took a first aid kit, scrubbed clean graffitti, put out fires.
Nothing deluded about that. It's called being a good citizen.

It’s amusing to see the mental gymnastics being played by some of the same people who are saluting Rittenhouse, who claim that Ashli Babbitt was murdered on January 6th on capital hill.

People were defending the lives of government officials behind those doors, told the “protesters” to back off and they did not listen. How was that not a threat and how was that not defence of officials?

Your hypothetical Capitol Hill guy is there to annoy people. They get annoyed and attack him. Then he kills them. So that sounds like a partial self-defence which reduces murder to manslaughter,
Fair enough.

I will make a slight change. Person went to Capitol Hill thinking he was protecting it, and did not agitate the “protesters” in any way. Just tried to stop them from going inside.

That was in South Africa if I remember correctly. I was trying to keep it American.
Why only American? A lot of people pop holes in Swiss.

Remove the word news from your sentence cus Fox is doing none of it.
Easy Jamon! It's good to have news networks that aren't receiving government dollars.

Yeah a victim of a gun loving fucked up society.

I am not taking any stand. Left or right I don't give a shit. Guns should be banned that's it.

Second amendment was written when you needed 60 second to recharge your arm. Not when it's possible to shoot 1200 bullets per minute.
I'm intrigued what gun can you buy legally that can shoot that may rounds per minute .

Most rational people can understand that looters are bad, while simultaneously agreeing this kid deserves to be locked away for good.

Maybe tries to protect a cop who is being pushed and is then attacked and has to fight for his life and blow his assailants away?.... Sure, that works for me. Self-defence.

I'm not sure Fox is your best example to use here.

Maybe you could up the ante and use Breitbart as your example. They're fine people at Breitbart.

It's a shame he wasn't available to clean off graffiti in the Battle of Fallujah or the bombing of Aleppo. He's clearly a dedicated scrubber.

His sense of place and time is impeccable as well. Nothing like wandering around being a "good citizen" in the middle of an armed riot.

It turns out that more of his services were needed, and he executed them efficiently.

I was actually alluding to people who do it accidentally at night. I don't have time to look for individual news stories about it but here is a link I found pretty quickly that says at least 47 times since 2005 it has happened. That doesn't happen in Canada...

Statistically nothing

In the us you have a 1 in 106 chance of falling to your death (More people die from falling out of bed then from an AR 15 per year)
1in 289 chance of dying from gunshot

Let’s say Somebody was at capital hill on January 6th trolling Trump fans , and then trying to ward off people from getting inside. he was then swarmed so He took out his concealed gun and blasted away. Is that ok?

Not sure what the carrying laws are there so you might be guilty of some weapons charge, but murder .. nope that was self defence.
You cannot carry a concealed firearm into any federal property including post office so no you could not have a firearm and if they were not attacking you you could not fire

Wishful thinking guns are not going anywhere the courts have ruled and upheld the Second Amendment and further court cases will probably expand those rights

1200 ends per minute would be full auto class 3 very controlled and very expensive you need to submit fingerprints to FBI

If you wanna try and use the second amendment was written way back then when modern things didn’t exist. then you should apply that to the first amendment which was written when Word of mouth and hand written letters were the only way to spread information
