Can you blame a guy for a NoShow when cops are in the parking lot?

Is the client still responsible for not showing?

So I had a client show up last night and there are two cop cars in the parking lot. Parked. Not even in front of the lobby. Don't know why but there were a few cops staying here as guest of the hotel. He mentioned it made him nervous and he was going to text and cancel but said fuck it and just came up.

So it had me thinking. There would be some serious anxiety for some guys if they showed up to cop cars in the hotel.

So what is the protocol here? If he doesn't show to the door because he got scared off, is that his fault? It can't really be can it? It can't be her fault, she has no control over cops. You can't get a cancellation fee out of cops either.

Does this fall into the category of things that suck while escorting and we take it on as part of the job? Ladies, do you blacklist the guy personally?

How does this work?

I don't think you can blame a guy for panicking and deciding to bail. The intent of showing up is there but seeing a couple of cops hanging around could easily unnerve a john.

Funny thing, it happened to mean in a role reversal. I was awaiting for a lady at a hotel as an outcall. I had to go down due to the elevator cards and 4 cops at the concierge. I texted her and warned her so she wouldn't get spooked. She came through but she was spooked but all went well. LOL

Gotta walk in like ya own the place. Give a wave, look people in the eye, etc. When trying not to be seen, moving in a furtive manner, not making eye contact, all make you look suspicious. If you have a bag just roll in with it.

There was a cop car with two officers parked outside Muse massage the one time I went. I thought about skipping my appointment, but ultimately decided to go ahead with it. Didn't even look at them.
When I came out, they were still there, and once again I just walked without a care to my car and drove off.

I certainly wouldn't blame a guy for bailing in that instance, given the current legalities.

I've left a few times when I saw the popo.
Especially when its a seedier place and its someone I haven't met before off of leolist.

Usually cops are good at hiding though, so if they want to catch someone you won't see the car in the parking lot or any sign until its too late.
I have seen several stings and usually the cops are stealthy but a few metres as way they are not with there paddy van and what not. It reminds me of the fake contests they have for known criminals spoofed in the Simpsons where they catch hundreds in one batch - which went fool circle as cops copied the show which copied other real cops

Generally police assume most criminals will kept to there nature despite obvious risks. How often innocent people get pulled into this has not been popularized.

PS even if things go well after the go badly, thats 24 hours of your life your not going to get back.

That is my thinking. And for a HH appt. I can see just calling it apart of the business and move on. But on a 2-3Hr appointment? What then? Then do you ask for a cancellation fee? The girl is now out hundreds. Does she blacklist him? If he paid a deposit, does it get refunded, held over to another visit attempt? The scenarios my brain comes up with …. LOL

Well you would not get any client under those conditions. You could have a reserve location for 2 hour appointments. A discussion of possible procedures. In the USA there where several customary protocols - one for example having a preview romantic session before the session started which stops the issue of stings (usually) as police don't go that far. I suppose having everything happen in bit coin might give some legal protection as bit coin is not money legally. For that matter gamer currency solves the same issue. Maybe terb will make its on cryto for Toronto use and have a central bank.
There is no easy solution.

Great thread @Jenesis , I honestly don't know what I would do. My instincts tell me to bail as I don't need that head ache and would reschedule and explain to the SP what had happened. At the moment though, sometimes junior does the thinking for me and 95% of the time he always win. I usually arrive a good 30 min. before and drive around and try to scope the area to the best of my abilities. The smart play though would be to bail and hopefully all parties understand.

First of all, I think this all implies that the guys calls or texts to say Hey, there are cops in the parking lot, what do you suggest.
Like you said, if it's a hh appointment, it might be wise to just reschedule.
If it's a 2 or 3 hour appointment, maybe just delay it by an hour.
Or cut off the first hour and come back for the rest.
Or have the SP come down to the client's car and go for a coffee or drink or something and then come back together. Nothing wrong with a couple walking into a place together.

I was assuming no call or texts. Don't know why I assumed it that way. Maybe not enough coffee. LOL

Or I guess I also assumed it would be him notifying after he already left.

Obviously, if he calls, arrangements get made together. Unless of course they disagree.

While I hate going to the front to get the client, in a case like this - I would do it.

It took me over 2 hours to vote this year.

Put up VOTE HERE signs all over with arrow signs pointing to your room.

If anyone asks why it takes so long to register a vote, tell them it's because of safety protocols... and some have a hard time making up their mind.

Nope. It is still illegal for them, I don't blame them at all. However, they SHOULD contact you to let you know they are bailing, and why, or reschedule if possible.

Well if they are new you might be part of the sting, a common practice in the USA. This will is an issue that police can be heroic about with no phyiscal danger so it will grow.

It just recently happened to me. I was on my way to visit a regular of mine and when I got to the hotel there were police officers in the parking lot.
I messaged her to tell her...She said hold on I will come down. She comes down jumps in the passenger side of the car and said lets take a drive.
I drive a block and notice the police officer following me lights come on pulled me over, tells me that I didn't stop properly at the stop sign and I am asked for License and ownership.
Police Officer comes back to the car and ask what our relationship was I told him "good friends" he hands me back my License and Ownership and tell me to be more careful next time.
I drive back to the hotel and there was NO STOP SIGN between the hotel and where I was pulled over!
I guess it all depends on your tolerance of dealing with trouble. Personally I recommend just drive away let her know what has happened and if it can be rescheduled great, if any real cost were incurred deal with it, but really not worth it for ether side to get into trouble over this

Meet him in the parking lot, then you both walk in like you own the place. Go that extra mile - service with a smile!
