There was no major spike in Canadian mortality last year
We've had this discussion, TJ.

If you bother to look ratio is same
Slope of the downward curve looks very different to me.

It is nearly identical lol
Higher starting point has sharper drop but the RATE is the same

Go google exponential decay and once you understand it plug the numbers in for yourself
(And again this really should be obvious to you, if they have exponential growth for spread of virus, why would you expect a simple decline?)
Now you are saying RATE, before "ratio".
Yes, exponential decay is important.

What numbers are you plugging in that makes you think the drop is the same and over what time period are you looking? (Maybe we are not looking at the same thing.)

Actually Val had last post in that thread
And rate of increase was lower
Rate of increase of what was lower?

Always so dimplomatic and patient. LOL

My take is simple and all I see is a delusional TJ trying to make up his own fantasy land narrative. He would have more success inserting a butt plug in his mouth so he can keep his thoughts to himself. Of course his keyboard would have to be taken away from him aswell.

Wow. Lockdowns actually work. Who would have guessed.
Legit question

Have you set foot outside your bomb shelter in past month?

EVERYONE is outside
EVERYONE is going to play together
EVERYONE is hosting dinners / BBQs

Try walking through a park and look how insanely crowded it is
I don't care where you live, noone is inside their homes

Your rhetoric is what is wrong; you claim (as does Ford) to support "science" but seem to fail to understand the lack of causality between things like lockdowns and case counts

When I'm out...I see closed stores, closed restaurants, and empty parking lots...

Even store wise

Coffee shop is closed and you have huge clusters in parking lot etc chatting

I think the downtown core looks deserted (excluding protests) but everywhere else is back to normal for weeks

Yup just looked at the live feed cams from a couple of the major parks and they are vacant.

I've been going outside since i was a toddler a number of decades ago ;

Who ever said that you couldn't? In fact fresh air & exercise has always been encouraged by health authorities, before and after 2019. Duh.

And, in Ontario, where the winters strongly motivate people to stay indoors, did you expect they'd still be likewise motivated in the fine Spring weather of June? Duh.

"Confused about Ontario's lockdown restrictions? Here's what you can and can't do right now
Recent rules lifted on June 2 but few changes followed. It's Step One that will bring more loosening":

Your website is not working (gives an error about maintenance so back soon)

Although I will point out that last couple of days had both a heat warning and pollution warning so prob not best days to check your cams

Try back on next weekend shouldn't be as poor weather wise

So now we see you can't read and can't look at the world without misreading it. First off it's been gorgeous outside, OF COURSE, people are outside more.

It's actually OK to be outside but hey, you want to act as if it's normal while everything around you is closed, sure, whatever makes you feel good, go with it. LMAO

Next week when things start opening up, your group of dumbasses will claim victory as if their protests led to the openings. LMAO, dumbstumps.

ROTFLMFAO!!!
Guess you forgot your meds today? :ROFLMAO:

Try accessing them during the daytime, might be a better chance of seeing someone in one of the parks.
As for heat warning and pollution alerts? Never heard of one around here although there has been a pollen alert active since last week.
I just checked and there is a maintenance worker on cam 1 doing some weed eating near his golf cart.

Its a zoo outside this weekend

Hour long lineups to get anything (fuck I saw over 100 people lined up at a Walmart to do non essential shopping)

Parks were jam packed to levels worse than I remember seeing back in 2019

Not only does noone care, but now that the fear of tickets have evaporated the people have spoken & they want their lives back
