I would think the opinions of the people in the conflict are far more significant than people half a world away, for example the repeated polling that shows around 40% of Palestinians support "attacks on Jewish civilians inside Israel" (the polls wording, not mine).

I'm sure the polls would show support for violence from the Jewish side that's similar, as shown by the posts here on this board calling for violence.

Israel can attack Hamas and Gaza with impunity. But they better hope that Hezbollah does not get involved in the fight. Hezbollah threw the IDF out of Lebanon.

And it is very telling that you happily lump civilians and military together. A good chunck of the Palestinian dead are the terrorists who were targeted, either because they were launching rockets or because they were the leaders of those rocket launchers.

I don't grieve the IDF soldier who was killed and I don't grieve the Hamas fighters killed. You on the other hand don't grieve for any of the dead as long as you can use them for propaganda value.

John pretty much has everyone on ignore and has created his own alternate universe that runs parallel to the universe we all experience. He goes around calling people snowflakes and nazis, then hits the ignore button when there is blowback to bury his head up his ass.

Yeah, that's the right wing way. Either use the ignore button or run to the mods if your feelings get hurt.

His attacks are pretty hilarious, considering he says he has me on ignore, its pretty clear he can't read that I'm here calling for peace, de-escalation, the rule of law and basic human rights.

The US gave Israel $3.8 billion is military aid in 2019. Most of that is now being dropped on Gaza, an open air prison living under a blockade that has resulted in 10% of the children to be 'stunted' due to malnutrition. Though those stats are a bit old as Israel kicked the WHO out of Gaza once those reports became public. Israel still hasn't allowed building materials in to repair the damage from their last bombings in 2014. Hard to say if that's the worst or if using snipers to kill 200 protesters and injure 14,000 more, including intentionally 'kneecapping' and crippling protesters in the Great March of Return was worse.

Either way, Israel is shooting fish in a barrel using weapons that the US gave them for free.
