Nope, not Riptide, they worked from the boat, you're right Rick Simon did live on a boat, forgot about him.

The show in question had 5 characters living on the boat
Surfside Six (in Miami Beach)...

One answer, per handle, per question, when I post them. It's Jeopardy, not The Price is Right.
You are this anonymous guy on TERB, not Chuck Wollery - GET OVER YOURSELF!!!

What canadian show was an improvised soap opera? , it was a daily show that broadcast the day it was shot, thus allowing the characters to comment on current events.

What was the late night canadian talk show that aired in the same time slot as The Tonight Show when Johnny Carson was host?

...and name the host.
90 Minutes Live with Peter Gzowski. I have 2 strong memories of that show. One was Gzowski cutting himself badly during a cooking segment. The other was a rare TV appearance by my guitar hero, Roy Buchanan, performing The Messiah Will Come Again.

During the 11 year run of NBC's Cheers, twenty-four people had credited/speaking roles playing themselves as characters. There are 24 green corrects up for grabs on this question. More than one reply is allowed, provided that you don't give a wrong answer, in which case, you will be eliminated from further competition on THIS question. Correctly naming a famous person who appeared on the show in an uncredited role will not count as correct or incorrect. Reply with any number of names you want, but if one or more of them in a single post is/ are incorrect, none of the correct answers in that reply count. I'll give clues after a while. Good luck!

Six correct!

What was the Canadian hootenanny show from 1963 -66 and who was the host?

Hint: Sing along in chorus, hum or whistle or shout, there's room for all in the hootenanny hall so come on ____ ____ ____ (name of show)
They had quite the line up guests over the run of the show including Simon and Garfunkel, Ian Anderson, Harry Chapin, Phil Ochs and a young lady from Saskatchewan named Roberta Joan Anderson (Joni Mitchell).

Let's Sing Out hosted by Oscar Brand

Battlestar Galactica
Correct!

Dilapidated pavilions built for Expo '67, then only about 12 years old, served as ancient ruins in the BSG episode Greetings From Earth. The man-made island is now the home of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada and the Montreal Casino.
